Uni Industries is a family run Queensland Solar Installer. Our Brisbane Solar knowledge spans three decades.

Story

We are renewable energy experts and specialize in Solar, Air Conditioning, Pool Pumps and Electrical services.

The Company specialises in Solar , Air Conditioning and Electrical. The staff pride themselves on great customer service, competitive pricing and engage in great friendly workmanship.

Uni-Industries are members of the ECA, Master Electricians and have all current licences accreditations, insurances and anything else required for safe and quality work.

The office is based on the Northside of Brisbane at Brendale only ten minutes off the Gateway arterial and Bruce Highway. The showroom offers displays, brochures and knowledgeable, friendly staff.

We are open for trading Monday - Friday 8:30am - 4:30pm and appointments outside this time available upon request.

The system has been installed now for exactly 1 year and I'm very happy with it's performance so far. My system has made over 8000kW and that is with shade covering some panels which I hope to fix very soon. It has certainly made a difference to my electricity bills.

We chose Uni Industries for our initial Solar installation based on their many years in similar industries as a family company, good feed back from other customers about their reliability and a good efficient response to our enquiriy. We were not disappointed, in 2011 their service and efficient installation for the system we chose was first class. Four years on, we sought an upgrade which today saw a prompt installation by a highly trained team which had our system up and running within 3 hours. A massive storm last week required cancelling the installation, rescheduled to today the team arrived on time and had it installed without any fuss. We can honestly recommend Uni Industries for .....prompt and personal attention to whatever system you might be considering; their knowledge of the industry and in our case, recommending benefits of which we were unaware. In light of some sad stories we have heard about some other suppliers' quotations and installations, we are very happy indeed to have chosen Uni Industries.

These guys were awesome! I brought a 3.5kw Solar System off these guys about 6 months ago and they were perfect. They talked me through the whole process and were never pushy. I had such a good experience that I got them back to install some Air Conditioners around the house. They will be the first people I call if I need anything electrical in the future.

Between our families and friends we have had about 8 systems put on , can not fault them.

Very quick to sell us our original system and then an extension to our previously installed system, however very slow to react when I reported a problem. It has taken us 7 phone calls, 7 promises to phone us back which hasn't yet occurred and we are still awaiting advice when Uni Industries will come out and replace a simple switch. In the meantime no solar. I would highly recommend that before considering a purchase from this company that you vigorously explore there follow up and warranty processes. My only option now is pursuing my legitimate claim with the Office of Fair Trading. Since posting this review last week, nothing has happened, still have a cheap Chinese faulty master switch installed by Uni. The switch is inoperable meaning a $20.00 part is costing me hundreds of dollars in lost income. Rang 2/2/15 ( again ) after a long discussion I was advised that the switch will be replaced mid to late this week. Asked to speak to Michael, again not available to discusss my issues again. Seeking advice as to whether I can seek compensation from Uni for lost solar income.
