Very pleased with the set back of Housing from the creeks and preservation of Aboriginal Cultural heritage sites. Such a lovely walking path.

Nice place to walk. Narrow paths. Only room for 2 to walk side by side. Not a great place for reactive dogs.

Water dragons, Cumberland skinks, snakes, fairy wrens and more!! The hot weather and lack of rain last summer seems to have got rid of the carp. Great place to walk.

A hidden slice of tranquility between the hustle and bustle of life. The first time i strolled through here I felt an overwhelming sense of peace. Lovely footpaths and gorgeous little bridges weave in and out of this nature lovers paradise. To sit on the many convenient seats positioned along the path and listen to the trickling water of the creek, bird songs and frogs croaking. Stumble onto the sweet mob of kangaroos who live here and are easy to spot and find if you have international visitors staying. From BBQs to multiple children's playgrounds, including a giant castle. The iconic stepping stones over the creek. Lizards, frogs, kookaburras, parrots, rabbits, kangaroos, turtles and thankfully over the last few years i haven't yet stumbled on a snake who are wise enough to keep well hidden. Stand on the bridge and hear the water splashing along and forget your stress and that you are actually only metres from busy Belconnen suburbs. Great walking or biking trails are easy to follow with plenty of signs to point you the right way. Friendly locals love to walk their dogs here and will wish you a good day with an added smile. Umbagong Park is certainly my 'happy place'
