I broke a driveshaft on Fraser Island (heading back to Sydney) and managed to limp my Hilux back to Gympie where I looked up and found Ultra Tune. As it was new years day and many other workshops were shut until the 8th of Jan I emailed Ultra Tune using the contact form on their website. I was called first thing in the morning, I explained what was wrong with my vehicle and he said they were able to take care of it before lunch. Sure enough the car was ready an hour before midday after dropping it off just before 8am. Single driveshaft price for raised hilux seemed marked up more than I thought it would be when comparing price of parts on SCA website but value was in the prompt turnaround and good customer service.

It would be nice if Paul had told us he had zero interest in helping us when we called him and told him we were broken down on the side of the road. He even gave us a number to call a tow truck to get towed to his shop. After an $88 tow bill he said "oh I can maybe look at it tomorrow, maybe" then just took the keys and told us to get lost
