Errol, Michelle and the team at Vogeltown Auto are top notch. Highly recommend for great customer service, fair pricing, and high quality workmanship.

Rubbish. Have a issue with transfer case and took it to them to fix. It's been there for two weeks and all they done is take the transfer case off. I've just recently bought the vehicle so it's under the dealership warranty. I've made inquires but get told lies. Never use them again. Yes the cars still at there shop.

You know how they say its the people that make the business, took my car in for a service, 3 visits and not once could the office ladies actually manage a hello, it was more like a blank stare and scowl that makes you feels like you're interrupting their day. Just a normal query about whether they offers rides to people back home, response was nope, so being a middle aged lady I got in my sons scooter and got back home but there was no "sorry about that but no we can't today, are you ok to get home", couldn't have cared a less. last visit to pick my car up I forced her to actually greet me which was begrudgingly. Most unwelcome place I've come across in a long time, i assumed my car got serviced I got a piece of paper with it and that was it. I certainly won't be back, but bit of a shame cos if they are good mechanics I wouldn't know, literally not one word to me about the job

Reception was awful everything feeled like to much effort and the mechanic didn't even do the job right too wished went somewhere else to get job done right was rip off as well not recommend.

Would highly not recommend!! I paid over $400 for an old guy just to have a look at my car and do nothing! Apparently the job took 2 hours and the part he ordered in was wrong. On top of that communication was poor and had to wait three weeks for anything to be done not that anything was performed. Car never started and ended having to hire another mechanic. Owner and receptionist knows the value of customer service. I needed to book in for a WOF urgently and they were able to attend to me on the day I walked in! $50 for WOF. I think if you’re looking for a no fuss and honest service this is the place you should take your car to

Vogeltown Automotive, my experience with the business has not been good. Took my car in for a service. Explained that the transmission fluid was low. Was told it would be topped up as part of the service. Mentioned this twice as I knew it was important to get topped up. Also, they advertised 7% discount on parts and services to Gold Card holders. The staff knew nothing about it and said they didn't do that. Showed her the advertisement. She then took 7% off parts only, exclusive of Gst. She said labour was not a service. Rang Consumer Guarantee, found out she was incorrect. If a discount is offered, customers should be made aware if it is inclusive or exclusive of Gst. This was not done so legally it is assumed that it would be the gst inclusive figure. Asked about the Transmission fluid, she said it was not part of the basic service, incorrect, the invoice clearly stated it was. Took her 3 goes to get the discount correct. I supervised as transmission fluid was topped up. If I had not been vigilant, my transmission would have been wrecked. It is extremely poor that a business that does services all the time, failed to do such an important thing. I would not trust this business to do any work on my vehicle and would strongly suggest that others don't. Poor workmanship and staff with very little knowledge of the business.  Edit

I recently took my car in to be looked at regarding an oil leak after making an appointment via the owner. But when I arrived, the manager told me I'd be charged for his time despite recently paying them $1700 for other important work & he apparently had no time to take even just a quick look. Is that any way to treat a customer? Most definitely not!! It shouldn't have mattered that I already had a quote from another mechanic, as I wanted a price comparison - my right to do so. Then to make me disappear, the manager informed me their quote would probably be the same or more - I felt totally disrespected & like I was being a nuisance. To make matters worse, I contacted the owner the following day who promised to look into the incident & get back to me. But guess what? I haven't heard a damn thing - definitely no surprises there. Since all of this happened, I wish I could turn back the clock & had taken my car elsewhere to replace the cambelt etc which cost so much. Other reviewers may rate this company five stars, but after my unpleasant experience I wouldn't give them ANY stars if that was an option. Terrible customer service!!
