I'm actually part of the cotton on group company so I understand about reaching kpis, personal and store goals but I had an experience at this specific store that left a bad taste in my mouth. A middle aged lady was serving me and did the typical buy a tote bag but I already had one which I showed her, then we continued on to perks which I said I was Team Member, all is good but as she realises this she makes the comment of "even more reason for you to buy a tote bag" which I'm disturbed by because I've obviously have supported the foundation before, we continue on and she asks if we want any other foundation goodies while practically begging "help a girl out" which I am disgusted by because I'm still a customer, when I serve customers I don't like to guilt trip them into the extra goodies, I give them options and my opinion to see if they'd like those products, but this worker just had bad customer service and obvious upselling which left me feeling yuck for being forced to buy something I didn't need.
This is my favourite Typo store. The girls are always so positive and cheery. You get good vibes as soon as you walk in. The girls are so helpful and always give me compliments. A good range of products, and you can find most items in this store that are shown online on the website. The line for checking out is always a bit long, but I’m not surprised that the store is popular due to such lovely service.
Short hair blonde young woman or boy I don’t know, had disgusting attitude towards my mate and I, it was actually very disrespectful and shouldn’t be going to work if they are gonna have that sour look on their faces towards us. Bloody learn how to smile or atleast fake it.!
Visited on a Thursday night and was naturally busy! The store was nice and I loved the layout. Probably would have preferred if the tall blonde girl that worked there didn’t charge out of the staff room, almost hit me and just pushed past without an excuse me, or sorry! Little rude :/
Jess, Bree and Mel are amazing at this store. They know what I’m looking for and let me know if there is anything new in store. They are engaging and make laugh every time I walk in. I even walk in sometimes just to say hi. Great team. They know their stuff. I’ll continue going to this store.
I wish I could remember the name of the lady who served me, she was absolutely nuts in the most endearing way! She asked if I was buying the notebook I'd selected for her, and then tried to upsell me some pens that look like pencils, I didn't because I have heaps of pens, but she almost had me she was so good! Ended up buying some tissues for $1 which I absolutely don't need and will never use, so kudos to you lady, you hooked me!
Great range of office and home office supplies at competitive prices. Even have Bluetooth Keyboards suitable for iPad and Android tablets. Happy, helpful counter staff too; promoting their loyalty rewards program.
Visited Typo Chermside this afternoon Mon 17th August 2020, and was treated to excellent service by Brianna! She is such as much a bright ray of sunshine as she is a ball of energy which was accredited to three coffees earlier hahaha and is a wonderful asset to this store! The only thing she was not successful in was getting my friend and I to buy out all of the socks, but we may be back to buy some more soon. Definitely recommend coming in to Typo Chermside to experience a feel good shopping experience complete with belting out the tunes coming through the audio system!!!
Pretty great store, friendly staff. One lady did lock eye contact with me for far longer than what felt comfortable though.
The new layout made it difficult to find what I was looking for. The staff are always friendly and peppy but if you're not feeling it they don't push their help on you. Always love their stuff and always leave with more than I intended.
