The food and customer service here is amazing! Came over here from the north-west and I must say this is some, if not the best Vietnamese I’ve ever had. Every dish had there own unique and splendid taste and with the minimal menu they all complemented each other really nicely. The drinks, where I just a ordered simple lemonade, was to die for. We were welcomed by a lovely worker and were served food in under 10 minutes. So excited to come back in the near future.
Good range on the menu. Easy to park right opposite. Not a great deal of room inside but cosy and nice you had the food cooked in front of you. Food all seemed fresh and was very tasty. We ordered a teeny bit too much food but it was worth it. Very handy that it also had a bar next door! Would happily go back
Food and drinks were great! We sat on the bar facing the kitchen downstairs, which didn't have much room at all. The entrance/ exit is a small door and can feel a bit crowded. Overall, still a lovely experience.Food: 4/5

As a Vietnamese food foodie, Google suggested I check out Typhoon, I wasn't disappointed. Impeccable food quality and presentation, with flavours which need tasting to be believed. The atmosphere was very trendy with a young vibe, prompt table service and friendly waiting staff. The decor was unique, which added to the overall experience.

A really nice inclusion to Highett that combines with the Hawker Bar next door. A great little modern restaurant with decent tasting food. However their food can be inconsistent. I have ordered here many times and dined in too. Every time the flavour of my favourite dish, the Vermicelli Salad with Chicken has tasted different. Sometimes flavoursome and sometimes bland. I also do think this place is slightly overpriced for the area and the portion sizes. But I guess that’s what happens when you’re about the nicest looking place on Highett Road.
The food was good but the music was too loud and it was super crowded and we couldn't hear each other.Food: 4/5
