We had stopped by for a drink here prior to previous flights so thought we’d try the food this time. We ordered the Caesar Salad and the Battered Fish and Chips via the QR code app and everything came out really quickly when normally ordering at the bar can take a while. Fish and chips was delicious and the Caesar Salad was too - just different to what we’d expect with such an overpowering anchovy flavour. That said, we were very grateful that the service was quick especially due to its location at the airport. Would definitely eat here again.
Ordered the Brisket and a pint of beer. Well cooked brisket, good amount of fat which I like most briskets are tough and dry because they’re just meat. Food came in hot and yummy. No chance to try the rest on the menu but I do see many ordering the chicken Parma!
Got the salt and pepper squid and I wasn’t really a fan of it. It tasted under seasoned and kinda plain. But the serving size is massive so it’ll fill you up. I’ll probably try something else next time.
Sat on the cushion chairs near kitchen. The young girl walked past while I was ordering off the app, asked her what the curry was of the day- not know - took me explaining twice what I was asking. So when had another question turned around and asked chef about use of onion. He was most helpful and responded. Full respect to him knowing his products. The PAMA Mother said was moist and the nachos of pulled pork were delicious. Favour without a chilli heat, not that would worry me. I was surprised when went to write this review so many bad. But our experience was good.
Dined here for breakfast while waiting our International flight. Casual and order in the counter, pay and someone will serve your order. Food and drinks not bad. Service nothing special. Restaurant was not busy.
Service was bad took about 20 minutes to get usa bowl of nachos that too with all premade ingredients. Probablly was the wrost nachos I have ever paid for and this was pretty expensive. The salsa seemed like made with canned tomatoes and were too sour. I had a glass of somersby. Place was busy but still didn't expect that very poor staff interactions.
*mic check* Went to Two Johns with the hopes of a great lunch, had a big night so wanted to eat a bunch! Got the famous burger which came out raw, d..d... diarrhea... need I say more Food: 1/5
The food is… rank Salt and pepper squid was the only “gluten friendly” meal on the menu, it was bland and undercooked. The mayo had congealed, the lime wedge cut a week ago. Interestingly, the dish came with chips.. which while welcome, are not marked as gluten-friendly on the menu. Fun times. The cider was good. Staff were at least careful to advise that “gf” meant friendly, not free.. Limited drink options. Last time I tried the wine it… wasn’t great. Edit: credit to the server for noticing I’d left my plate, and after speaking the the chef offered a fresh plate. I declined but it was a welcome intervention and a friendly exchange Added +1 star!
As airport pubs go it's pretty good with a good range of drinks & different food. For the location they do pretty well. Can't expect too much at a domestic airport Food: 3/5
Wow! Wow! Wow! The BEST espresso martini I have EVER tasted THANK YOU Shirzu! My last alcoholic beverage before starting a 10 week health challenge! Oh my goodness - WHAT A FINISH!
