Stomping Ground Brewing
"Now there’s something arguably more desirable at Melbourne Airport than an airport lounge pass. With its Collingwood operation judged Best Brewpub in Australia by Beer & Brewer magazine for the past three years, Stomping Ground Brewery & Beer Hall at Melbourne Airport is part of a broader airport initiative to better reflect the city's renowned food and drink culture.Stomping Ground believe beer should be for everyone so brew a wide range of beer styles to suit all tastes, some even at the onsite brewery, the first in an airport in Australia.Even better news for people not flying Virgin Australia is that whilst it is located past security in Terminal 3, anyone can visit the brewpub whether they are flying Virgin or not."

First one star review I’ve given for a meal. Dry, tasteless, lacking seasoning, everything tasted like old fryer oil. You could taste that the consciousness of the cook was absolute disdain for their job.
Beer is okay. That’s about it. Just an honest review of 3 out of 5…. More really a 2.5. If I owned this place I would get the staff trained up and work on the food quality.
Popped in for a refresher on our layover to launceston and had a 6 x100ml tasting platter all nice the passionfruit one was average for me but the staff gave me another to try def a place.for a beer and a snack if ya have time
Meatball was good, so much flavour! Hotdogs was just your hotdog, it was in a nice brioche bun!Food: 5/5
On my last visit had the hot dog @$14, it was tasty and enjoyable. Just had the burger @$22 and it was very disappointing, dry tasteless patty, which was only made edible by the chip. Mentioned it to a staff member who only commented burgers were not your specially. Then why have a $22 bigger on the menu.?
Staff members were very friendly and helpful hence the 4*. Wife Enjoyed the bowl of toasted muesli with yogurt and a warm cup of tea. Beer choices on tap were not really my thing ,though worth a pit stop before taking off
Amongst the best airport food our family has enjoyed. We enjoyed crispy toastie, delicious parmies, nachos and dairy free Moroccan meatballs. Coffee ok but warmed almond croissants were premium. Vegetarian options: Vegetarian options plus ask Kid-friendliness: Our teenagers were very happy Dietary restrictions: Caters for GF, DF and staff helpful and pleasant about it!
The vibe lacks here. Tables so filthy. Order on your phone and no one’s at the bar but takes over 15 mins to get your drinks? $12 for a drink but I guess airport prices. The guy with the man bun friendly
Came for a satisfactory meal before flight. Ordered the Hop Stomper and as expect it lives up to the Stomping Ground brand. However the chicken parmigiana was lacklustre. Chips were adequate, cabbage salad? slightly improved a dull chicken that sorely missed some ham or bacon. It probably could have used a few more minutes cooking and a handful more cheese. Not worth the money.
Great last stop before gate 7 if you are on a virgin flight. Unique flavours on all the drinks available here. Great atmosphere for a pre-flying bar. They do serve food here and prices are reasonable considering you are purchasing at an airport . You have to be vigilant while looking for a table, however there are many seats available. A must visit if you are travelling on gates 1-10 at Melbourne airport. Pro tip: The 'laneway lager' is nice and crisp, kinda equivalent to a Great Northern.
