Almost 6-7 apostles are visible and they say some eroded overtime and some people say there was never 12 apostles. The view was breathtaking and the wind speed effect can be clearly seen in the structure of the rock
The place is very far, we need to drive around 4/5 hours from coburg melbourne. After that look at the amazing views of Twelve Apostles . So enjoyable place
Beautiful place with breathtaking views! The only problem is people that leave their debris in the bush and in the other side of the fence. However, Parks Victoria does an excellent job to keep this place safe.
This is one of the great stunning pieces of Australian scenery. The effects of the erosion caused by the surging wild seas is obvious. The high limestone cliffs and their reflections change the moods and colours that you see. Even at different times of the day the same natural beauty can appear quite different. The site also has toilets, well defined and easy to navigate tracks and plenty of parking.
It's absolutely stunning. Well worth the visit if you're passing through.
Excellent ! I was thinking that maybe the reputation was a bit exaggerated but not at all. It’s is a wonderful spot. It’s not unique since other places look quite similar in the world but it’s still a beautiful landscape. Of course it’s crowded especially at sunset time i went in april and you will hate people around you, posing and taking selfies everywhere, but I WOULD NOT SKIP this place anyway. Coming early might be the solution. Parking is huge but you might have to park in the dirt roads around. Facilities with toilets etc ... From here i suggest a look a the port campbell national park a few km West, quite good too and way less crowded.
Nature's wonder at its best! Amazing in any weather, truly one of the top highlights of the famous ocean road trip. Most of the time it will be crowded, sometimes even very windy. Take care of your personal safety, don't venture out of the fenced area. If time permits, take the path to stroll along the beach, to see them at ground level. If you can afford it, a 15 minutes helicopter ride would be amazing too.
It should be a 5 star+ scenic spot in VIC, marvellous nature creates us spectacular view with sea, cliff, rocks and waves. Though there are people flocking in, compared to site is nothing, nobody can block the way. If VIC government can put away flies and mosquitos, visitors could be 100 times more
Very nice place for one day trip. Nothing quite like it, Plenty of overseas tourists; Australians need to put this on your travel list! Safe place for Overseas tourists
It's worth the side trip from Melbourne to visit this beautiful coast line. It will take a whole day to drive from Melbourne and back. There might be a lot of flies in the summer time. Parking is available. If you are lucky, you might spot some koalas on the trees.
