We only spent one night here but will definately be back! Clean tidy rooms with a beautiful spa tub, quiet and peaceful and a stone's throw from dining and bars! The friendly motel cat was an added bonus!

DO NOT STAY HERE. The rudest people I have ever come across. My partner playing the annual Whakatane Tournament staying with his own team at their own accom, came to drop off my bags and my personal blankets that I like sleeping with. The owner comes out stands by our car staring at us and then comes over says he's worried more than 2 people are going to be staying the room. I said to him he made it very clear about the rules when we arrived and my partner was only dropping my bag off. As he could see it was a leapord print bag, with heals and makeup. He walked away. My partner left. 2 minutes later the other owner comes knocking at our door asks if there is a problem I explained to her that her husband pretty much accused us of breaking the rules I opened the curtains said there is only 2 people in the room. She went on and said I needed to exit the premises and they will issue a full refund. At this point I'm BEYOND confused and angry. I walk over to the reception with my card, I give my card she says she won't do the refund until they have their key then I ask for my card back they say no, are VERY rude then say they will call the police????????? I walk out head towards my room I ask the guy not to walk so close to me because he was literally up my ass. He says this is his property so I keep walking get him the key. Walk back to reception now she says she's not giving my card back until we have VACATE. I ask for my card they say they'll call police. So I go back to the room pack up all my stuff and have to vacate due to these VERY RUDE people who no NOTHING about customer service. I did absolutely nothing wrong and they were very very very rude. I was very respectful to the property and the guy kept repeating if there's any damage to the room blah blah....????? DISSATISFIED TO SAY THE LEAST

Would never stay here ever again. Actually didn’t even stay here for a first time as we were kicked out 5 minutes into the stay. We had paid for two nights accom and then were told that we looked suspicious and were trying to sneak people in to stay? (Which is not true). We had explained the situation that my friends partner was only dropping off her bags and he left. We had drove all the way from Hamilton and it was 9pm at night with no where to go. They are very rude and inconsiderate people. Very over priced aswell.
