Basic Chinese take away shop, parking can be hard to find during busy dinner times. Good clean food with very little oil left on fried items. Decent menu options.Food: 4/5
Tried to make a phone order and the lady swore at me because she couldn’t understand me lol. 0.5/10, just go to Maunu Takeaways next time

New Tui Takeaway is our go to now. It’s clean with an A grade the owners are really lovely, the food is really really nice and the quality excellent. I highly recommend New Tui.
The hamburger we ordered had a burnt bun, and extremely limited filling, too much sauce, chips were reasonable, but the sweet and sour pork had two tiny pieces of onion and one piece of carrot, and the batter was far too crunchy and we won't be coming back.

Once we ordered and got home to missing things from our order but the next time they gave more than lost, seafood was cooked lovely dory was so fresh and juicy and the best sweet and sour fish around only three stars due to forgetting half of our 200 Dolla order a pretty hard screw up to miss that much
If I could give zero stars I would. I asked for well done chips expecting them to be golden and crunchy. Instead we got soggy sad looking and very disappointing tasting potatoes. Would not reccomend and will not go there again
Visiting from Akl and found this Gem of a takeaway quite by luck... I say Luck because we were supplied the best Chinese meal we've had in a VERY long time... The service was exceptional thanks to the young girl taking orders.... we will definately return on our next trip to Whangarei
