Carnival, it was amazing experience. Its awesome festival for children cos there is many play stalls. There is an Entry fees which is worth. There is a huge parking space which is free.

Super dog friendly park, with plenty of space to roam and no concerns for passing cars. With big fields and bush tracks one is safely certain to find just the right way to relax. Plenty of company on the park ensures there’s a bit of hustle and bustle, and the flock of red headed parakeets are a lively distraction. Go here for good walks and enjoy nature close to the city.

Great family friendly park, cricket pitches available (grass and turf), also hosts soccer for the littlies in the winter. UH Junior Athletics Club on the Brentwood Road entrance - in the summer has a 400m track marked out on it - the the newly revamped kids playground is also on this side - as well as toilet facilities. Small bush sheltered walks within the park, and the outside boundaries are often used as a running or walking circuit. Indoor cricket centre located on the Barton Road entry side, can hire the indoor nets for a fee - contact Upper Hutt Cricket Club. Trentham Harriers also located at this entrance, who have week night and Saturday afternoon club activities. Toilet facilities also available on this side. Ample space to run the dogs, and also runs alongside the river trail. is Bicycle friendly as well. Plenty of parking spaces on either entries. Great place to take the family/pets for activities.
