I really like Cotswold's. They are the John Lewis of the outdoor world such as being very supportive of any product issues under guarantee which if you register for their loyalty card makes the process so easy. The product range is well curated and in this store the layout and product range compliment each other very well.

Cotswold outdoor does have pretty good quality gear and I found the perfect mid-layer, but not in my size. However, I was able to order on-line. Sometimes it's nice to have more stock on offer as texture is important, but the high street has certainly changed since covid/brexit...

I went to Cotswold in Brighton with my husband today as we both wanted walking shoes and actually purchased a pair each. The person who looked after us and I mean looked after us is called Kate. We had such brilliant service , she spent so much time with us. That's why I always go to Cotswold's, couldn't do better.

While good for clothing, footwear and rucksacks, the store is a little lacking in other equipment required for a serious trip to the wilds.  Short on good quality torches and other important items.  This is fine for those wanting to attend music festivals and day walks but nothing more vital.

Helpful staff & an extensive range of outdoor clothing. Expensive, but have regular sales with reduced prices & some real bargains to be found.

Extremely helpful and friendly staff! I spent hours in here looking at various different products, and the staff were patient and didn't mind taking their time to explain things and get products out for me to test. Dominic in particular was incredibly helpful, explaining different products in detail and giving me tons of great advice for my upcoming backpacking & hiking trip. The sleeping bag I went for wasn't available in store, but the staff went out of their way to get it delivered in time for my trip, even calling up the warehouse so it would get sent out as fast as possible it arrived 2 days earlier than expected. Good selection of jackets, clothing, sleeping bags, and other hiking gear - the only thing they barely had any selection of was trail runner shoes. Overall a great experience though, thanks again to the staff!

Bought some boots here, can’t speak highly enough of the magnificent staff, especially Herve. Walked us no pun intended through the many options available as well as managing for my many foot and ankle issues.  Was knowledgeable, friendly and left me totally confident in my purchase, as well as return options if I wasn’t totally satisfied. Fantastic experience and I will be shopping at Cotswold for all my outdoor needs from now on.

Refreshing to have staff who spend the time and make a genuine effort to find the right kind of shoes for my purposes. They didn't mind getting out lots of different shoes and sizes to get it perfect. Very impressed. Next stop Santiago De Compostela!
