Classic four star experience. Pros: -very nice classy fitout, beautiful at night - great atmosphere, romantic - attentive staff with knowledge - location in lovely racecourse road -carparks on the road Cons: - food. expensive and doesn‘t keep the promise. my $36 steak ordered medium was medium well, no pink at all. the sauce was $4 extra and for a homemade sauce tasteless and watery. Huge portion of Bruschetta as entre but they didn’t use any spices, no salt, pepper, olive oil or balsamic. Mashed potatoes very bland but tasted homemade. My recommendation: great for a romantic meeting when the setting is more important than the food. Also good for people who don’t like spicy food and maybe kids.

This was the busiest restaurant on the street and we know why!! It was amazing .. from the service to the food. The prawns were to die for. The staff were super friendly and good at their job. Thanks for an amazing experience.

Regular customer and never disappointed. Staff and food is of the highest quality. Strongly recommend a visit and the prices are exceptional.

Great authentic kitchen. Love the choice of meals and kids options. Do take the time to view the old pictures on the walls when visiting. They are adding a lot of character to the Restaurant. Would love to see some Martini Bianco on the beverage list.

I've been a regular here for 7 years. I've brought family and friends here for dinner and everyone raves about it afterwards. One friend is a chef and this is the only restaurant he'll come to. In the words of his wife, "why should I go to a restaurant when I can have the exact same thing at home". Trattoria Italiana is the exception. I've even encouraged browsers to try it and they are all regulars now. If you live in Brisbane or you're about to visit, do yourself a favour and go there for dinner.
