Story

OUR HISTORY

When we first began, we wanted to create a community. "Let's go to that Thai restaurant on Racecourse Road" is what we wanted everyone to speak about... so that's exactly how our name came about! That Thai first opened it's welcoming doors in May 2005 with a committed focus to bringing the real taste of Thailand to the streets of Australia, without compromising any flavour. We prepare and cook every single dish on premise (even the dipping sauces!) for maximum flavour and the highest quality food. Creating the perfect dish requires attention to detail, taking every single element into account to get it just right. All of our staff go to this extra effort, down to every last ingredient.

We are proud owners of TripAdvisor's certificate of excellence, and we've created a strong, long term relationship with our suppliers to bring us the absolute best produces available. Our food is always surprising our customers, as our head chef creates classic dishes as well as new delightful creations. With over 25 years of cooking, including 10 years as Thai chef in famous Bangkok hotels, including the Sofitel Central Hotel, he prepares the highest quality food. Our number one goal is to create an enjoyable dining experience for every single one of our customers, so they walk out the door with a big smile on their face.
