My mum in law took my kids here. The nan said that Bill, the worker was saying that items aren't allowed to be touched. was very unprofessional and was very aggressive, when they went in, they weren't even greeted or asked how they were going. Though there was a decent range of toys, the service was appalling. Do not come here.
Went there with a couple friends today and the older gentleman’s attitude was disgusting. so unprofessional. yelling and pointing fingers, stating that we weren’t allowed to touch the toys. do not recommend.
Shop owner rude and unwelcoming. You can't run a toy store and not expect kids to play with the toys
Absolutely disgusting behaviour from the male staff member Bill. Completely unprofessional. Stating if items are touched, they must be purchased. Aggressively pointing fingers and yelling. Do not take your children here.
When we came to the shop with a toddler to have a look at the toys, we were being followed around like we were gonna steal something. We just kept quiet thinking that he may just be on standby incase we need anything, but he didn’t look like he was there to be of any assistance. When my son picked a toy he liked and started playing with it, he came up and said, “Are you paying for that because you’re not allowed to touch anything!” He was so rude and derogatory. Like telling us to get out of the store. I understand that with Covid things are a little bit different, but he could’ve been nicer. Aren’t stores suppose to sanitise and separate products that have been tried by customers anyway? How can a child know if they like something or not if they haven’t tried it?
The team at Wangaratta Toyworld are exceptional people. A great range of Toys and great advice. Bill is a true gentleman!!!
Would not buy from here we went to return a board game and the guy was rude as and wouldn’t refund as a piece of tape was hanging off there was nothing damaged in the box nor was the box damaged
Bill and Lucy are always smiling and are only to happy to help with anything you might be looking for. Makes buying toys and collectables an enjoyable experience.
Very helpful staff. The boys love the lego selection and most of the time their lego is cheaper than we can find it on the Internet. A great local business to have in Wangaratta.
Friendly staff, excellent customer service. Will always help you find what you're looking for or will make every effort to order it in. The pricing is a bit high compared to other local shops but that isn't the fault of this particular store.
