Extremely happy with the service provided. I had ongoing issues with a shudder in the front of my vehicle under braking. After replacing brake rotors and pads, the problem appears to be resolved, unlike previous overpriced services from other local mechanics. Very happy with the vehicle service; the car drives better now than any previous service we have had done. Total Mechanical was recommended by a mate of mine and I couldn't be happier. I've seen my fair share of mechanics and these guys are professional, reasonable and good at what they do. They never upsell or try to rip me off. Always provide very sensible advice and always call to check before commencing work. Very glad to have found these guys and now they look after my cars. I used Total Mechanical on advice from a few people and they definitely did not disappoint. Their customer service, knowledge, and their willingness to go that bit further is incredible. I’ll only be taking my vehicles here from now on.Services: Brake service & repair
I took my car in for an overheating problem & suggested that the water pump was the problem as the timing belt replacement was overdue & the water pump usually gets replaced at the same time. They told me all I needed was to replace two hoses, some clamps & a pressure test which would cost around $780. I didn't take up their offer & had my car towed home to Brisbane where I replaced the timing belt & the water pump, which was completely seized with corrosion. The day after I got the car running I noticed coolant on the passenger floor which had never happened before & after some googling found that that is a sign that the heater core is leaking, I'm going to suggest the "pressure test" over pressurised my system & caused the leak which is a big job to fix. These guys either didn't know what they were doing or had a no care, no responsibility attitude towards my problem, no more overheating either.
Been going to these guys for over 8 years, 4 different cars. Every single time I have had flawless experiences with them. Would highly recommend to others.
Sent our car here for a service from reading the reviews. Total Mechanical are honest and relieble. Had a warning light on my car for 5 years which not even Holden or 4 other Mechanic shops could repair. Total Mechanical found the issue and advised me of the repair costs to fix it. A simple $30 part fixed the issue which had been driving me insane for 5 years. I was updated about any issues with the car. If you are looking for a good honest mechanical company you dont need to look anywhere else.Thank you to the team you guys are amazing! Keep it up.Services: Brakes
I took my car here, no appointment, water pump had died, Cody said they were booked out for the day but he could see how urgently I needed my car so they fit my car repair in, I am so grateful, such decent people can be hard to find, cleaning my car today only to find a bag of sweets attached to a business card from Total Mechanical, you cannot go wrong when these mechanics are looking after your car, Thank you.Services: Electrical
I have only ever had spectacular service from Total Mechanical, they walked me through one cars breakdown without pressuring me into unnecessary repairs, and even helped me as I chose my next car. It really meant a lot as a first time car owner with no clue what was happening. I wholeheartedly recommend these guys to anyone who needs a mechanic!
Took my Ford Ranger here for a basic service and asked if they could look at a couple of issues. The experience from start to finish was absolutely fantastic. Really took their time to make sure I understood all of the issues they found and which ones were more important than others. I would recommend this mechanic to anyone.
I’m so happy I found Total Mechanical. I brought my Subaru in for a service and timing belt change, and they rang me with other issues as they arose. They are friendly and are happy to work with your situation. I’ll definitely be back for my next service!
