I have had an issue with enrolling in an extra course beyond the required credit, which cause me an additional tuition fee. However, I reached out to student support and was assisted by Beth Potter. She was incredibly helpful and putting effort to address my concern. Throughout the entire process, Beth replied and processed everything promptly, which is contrast to my previous experiences at other institutions. I am impressed with the student support and financial teams for their efficient and effective resolution of my issue.
Firstly, I have had an struggling in my study plan. However, I reached out to student support and was supported by Beth Potter. She was incredibly and friendly, and strongly support to help me define my study plan. Beth help me reduce hesitate rand processed everything clarity. I am amazing with the student support for their efficient and create a strong connection to student.
Big shout out to the student service team, what a fabulous team work they do together I think they are also the person who works students better future. and I would I love to appreciate the work of Miss Beth potter the way she helped me whenever I reach out to her I absolutely feel blessed to have a such a great student service team for me and other students as well.
I had an online session with Amber, one of the staff members of the student support. She was amazing, really friendly and above all, professional. She knew what she was doing and that gave me great sense of confidence in the information I received from her. I would say i had the similar experiences with all the sessions I had with the student support as well. Also, great campus and great staff! As a fellow student, this campus will always have a special place in my heart.

Initially, I was hesitant to join Torrens University due to less satisfactory experiences at other universities. However, Torrens University has proven to be a welcoming space for neurodivergent individuals. The campus is designed with accessibility and comfort in mind, featuring five floors of student facilities, including a self-care room on the fifth floor. These spaces are thoughtfully provided to support academic focus and personal well-being. Additionally, the university’s approach to teaching material emphasizes creativity and personal expression. Students are encouraged to integrate their creative interests into their work, which significantly enhances the quality of their outputs. Overall, Torrens University offers a supportive and innovative educational experience that is well-suited to diverse student needs.

They cancel my master with no previous notice to the students. This affects considerably the migration status for people like international students and after canceling the master, they don’t offer reasonable solutions. The solutions that they offer imply extra costs in visa expenses, re enrolments, paper work and time. And on the top of that, they impose ridiculous deadlines to pay those new extra costs that were caused by the university, not the student. I don’t recommend this university, the fact that they cancel the courses with no previous notice and the refusal to give alternative solutions to students make this institution very dodgy and risky for any student.
I am so appreciated for the help from Amber Ge and her service is very good. I got a quick response from her about my application. She is kind and patient to help me and really helped me a lot. I am overseas in China and it is not convenient to apply for defer my studies and Amber Ge helped me to process my application smoothly and my application is successful with her help.
With the current student debt crisis, doing any course here could potentially be the worst financial decision you will make. I am specifically speaking of health courses such as Chinese Medicine, Nursing, Nutrition. If you are looking at doing Naturopathy, that is a different story as that can only be completed at private universities. With regards to Chinese Medicine, I have spent months doing my research and can tell you that even internationally when converting the currency, this course and the same for another private school is severely overpriced so unless you don’t care to have student debt or can afford to fund as you study, avoid it. Try to find a public university or go overseas. You will save a good $50k-$100k by doing this same degree at either a public or international university. At this university, you are being charged international student rates despite being a domestic student! The same course even in China costs less and you at least get to attend a university with a great reputation and instead of having Torrens rip you off. Try it yourself by comparing other diplomas between Torrens and other universities/TAFE’s and you will soon realise how overpriced it is. Overpriced fees and in return you will deal with horrible admin too. Also speaking from a friends experience who ended up cancelling enrolment, the management and admin here is so poor. To fix minor issues it took weeks of failed emails and phone calls. The anguish and mental breakdowns were simply not worth it. Also be warned, student advisors here will harass with multiple phone calls to lure you in with petty scholarships, just to get you enrolled as fast as possible. I strongly recommend to everyone to avoid this overpriced horribly managed institution, and search for the same degree at public universities even if its interstate or overseas. Do your own research before enrolling anywhere.
