One of the largest playgrounds we have ever had the fortune of visiting. It is a bit dated and you wouldn't see some elements of the playground built these days due to safety concerns. It is all built on sand so even if the little tackers do take a fall, it won't hurt too much. Plenty of different playgrounds so there should be something for everyone. There is even a swing set up for less able children.

Good open space between the Esplanade and Beach. Esxcellent for walks and picnics

A large and good quality park with nearby bathroom facilities (but be warned they are very dark). Parking can be a challenge. Be wary with little kids on the slides as they are steep and the kids tend to fall off the bottom at speed.

Nice park for kids to play at. Plenty of parking and shade for the hotter days
