Good and friendly restaurant, owner is Korean, so the food very genuine.  Just the portion is a bit small. We had army stew and thought it’s one of those big and for 3-4 pax, however, comes up only a small one.

Had lunch here and it was very busy. The service was quiet fast and the people seems nice. Today I picked the beef bibimbap which has good portions but you need to add the red sauce to make it nicer. The other vegetarian noodles I heard was very good from a friend. They provide free drinking water when the water is served.Food: 4/5

Went here yesterday with hubby and friend, the attendants were accommodating and attentive. Place is very casual and laid back. Food is yummy, I tried the beef bbq and easily inhaled it. My hubby had the spicy shrimp bibimbap. This place must be added to your bucket list.

would say that price is a bit high for the portion but food overall is . sometimes the restaurant can get a bit noisy and loud. seafood pancake is very fluffy and crunchy but the other dishes can be a bit oily. staff are very kind and friendly :

Very good authentic Korean food. Forgot to take photo of Spicy Seafood Soup, but was excellent! Went at 3.30pm Wednesday, 20-30min wait time.

Took Bae Kee is one of those Korean restaurants that lasted through the test of time. The one at this Barrack street was the first branch and used to be called Took bae kee 2. Now that the original restaurant has permanently closed, this restaurant carries on the legacy. We had small supper after a night out in the city at 8.45pm. The place was still packed. We ordered Galbitang beef rib soup and Spicy prawn bibimbap Mixed rice of vegetables and meat. Galbitang was delicious and bibimbap was good but lacked more punch. Def loved the condiments given. Portion was on the smaller side. Service was quick and friendly.

Jajamyeon $17. 4/10 Bibimbap beef $19 dulsot 3/10  Pros: the small complimentary plate has 4 things. Staffs were nice.  Cons: Terrible water No music at the moment dead quiet Food upholstery  Jajamyeon taste good but greasy and the noodle was too soft. Instant cup Jajamyeon was better but still taste good.  Bibimbap taste weird. Usually there are many flavors in there even without sauce but this one no. We had to cover up the ingredients with the sauce. Also for the egg extra $2. So far “Woo jeong” bibimbap is the best.
