I bought the most expensive sheets they had at big w thinking I was purchasing quality. How mistaken was I.nThe fitted sheet lasted 12 months if that and spent most of the time in the cupboard .nI thought they might replace it but both Tontine and big w declined and wanted a receipt.
WOW how much has your quality dropped. Such a trusted brand by many in the past but not anymore. The stitching quality of your pillows is disgraceful. I've had to throw so many in the bin after only weeks of use. And no I didn't keep my dockets for purchase of your product because I've never needed to before as your products were reliable. NOT ANY MORE. I will not be purchasing Tontine ever again.
Went to the factory and I walked out because they didn't except cash I don't like paying with my card. Things should go back to how things were before covid you can still get germs with paying by card.
Edit: the lady finally called and they did not honour the guarantee on the product.nnPoor customer service, i like the Tontine mattress and pillow protectors so I decided to buy a pillow of the same brand, in less than two months it is sagging although supposed to be medium support, i called them and explained and the lady promised a call back with a solution by end of day and never heard from her. I also emailed so the response was to go back to the store! I did explain that due to covid and hygiene stores do not even want to discuss and that the pillow has a 5 yr guarantee which is with the manufacturer , bad customer service and never buying your products again since you do not honour what you write on them.
Stopped buying tontine pillows many years ago due to poor quality. Bought a Tontinenquilt/doona in the past week. It was on sale, so I thought why not? $70 later: Put it in the wash on a gentle cycle prior to use and the stitching unravelled. Apparently the poor quality extends to quilts/doonas. Would never buy a Tontine product again.
