Me and a mate had heard about this place as we work nearby. Came in and were very impressed at the range of gins available and the knowledge of the staff for the products they serve. It's a small niche alcove with a very chilled out atmosphere, a great place to hangout and unwind. Although I haven't tried the food here, I think that majority of people coming here are here for the gin. I think for some of those people commenting the food is a bit expensive, it's not a cafe and it's not trying to be. It's not a brunch spot, it's a gin bar that also serves food. And I think for that I can't fault them. Would highly recommend a visit if you are in the area

I love the sustainability ethos of Tonic Lane, including the double loyalty stamps when you bring your own cup. if you don't have your own keep cup there is a supply of porcelain cups to take away and return the next day. And if you must have a disposable cup, even they are recyclable. The vast majority of the day time customers are long-time loyal regulars, and Lain and her staff know us all by name. There is even a community library for anyone to use. The coffee is great and the food is amazing. A lot of the food is made on-site, which is pretty impressive for such a small establishment. And best of all Lain will always go the extra mile to suit my special dietary requirements. Thanks Lain, Andy and Serge!

Amazing breakfast, brunch, evening snacks AND gin to boot! This cafe does it all, perfect for a night out and breakfast the morning after ; I can't recommend this place highly enough. Very friendly staff and great atmosphere. Thanks Laine for making it worth the trip every time!

Great coffee, relaxed but attentive management and staff. Great place for a casual work meeting or just to kick back, enjoy the music that doesn't intrude but you find yourself singing or humming along to. Highly recommend.

Great choice of Australian gins. Small selection of beers. And food to go with it.

We came as friends had said we should try it out. To be honest I was disappointed. Small portions. Expensive. Took a surprisingly long time to heat up food from the cabinet, and then when it arrived it was cold. Staff were nice and we didn't try the coffee but probably won't be coming back any time soon. Shame. I really wanted to like it.

Cafe by day Gin bar by night. 60 Aussie gins to choose from and they have their own delicious tonic lane coffee blend. Tapas style food at night and amazing breakkie by day. Staff are super friendly and helpful. What's not to like!!!
