I have been going to Tony and Guy for a number of years, because I appreciate a good cut. The cuts have been consistently acceptable. However, I can only give two stars because of the poor standard of blow drying, going from the flat and plain, to the frankly ludicrous and humiliating. I don't pay the top dollar to come out looking like I'm wearing a flat bathing cap - but worse, much worse was to come. When I mentioned that I would like more body, the response was to curl - with curlers, tease and fiddle with the hair round my part, leaving the sides lank and flat. I came out looking like I was wearing a toupee. Bizarre. I tried 3 times with this stylist to both show a picture, and to explain what I wanted - no problem, she would say. And then blow dry a bizarre and weird look that made me look like I had a head shaped like a box at the top. EVERY time, I HAVE to go home and wash my hair before it looks remotely normal. Which is my goal. Normal, not like a model. But not like a spoof on 1950 fashions either. The other BIG issue with Tony and Guy, is that the stylists obviously get commission for the products they sell. EVERY time you go, you will be told there is something just perfect for - dryness, frizz, body, shine, ease of styling, heat protection etc etc etc. I accumulated a cupboard full of expensive products. When I took them all in to get advice on how to make the best of them, I was waved off with "just work your way through them". There is no interest in actually improving your hair, once the product is purchased, they just try to sell you something 'new' and 'better'. There's no end to it. I think the stylists should be paid properly, and not be forced to sell hugely overpriced products to supplement their incomes. It makes them quite negative towards people who don't constantly buy more stuff. As far as blow drying goes - train them to deal with the whole head of hair, not just the very top. How hard can it be?

I've lived in London, LA and Singapore but I've had the best hair styling experiences from the lovely team at Toni & Guy Subiaco. Everything from cuts, treatments and colour; the result has always been wonderful, beautiful hair. Stylist Justine knows my hair perfectly but I've had good blow dries from others on the team as well. Every time my mother flies in to visit me she also gets her hair done here. Staff are very welcoming, pleasant and knowledgeable with a high level of technical experience. I also recommend Toni & Guy's range of Label.M products.

Have been going to Tracy and team since arriving in Perth nearly 17 years ago. Have had quite a few team members cut my hair in that time, and all have given great cuts, have been professional and friendly. The Subi salon has a great vibe - give it a go!

I've been going to Toni & Guy in Subiaco for over 10 years and have never been disappointed! My mum jumped on the bandwagon after my first cut & colour!!! BEST TEAM EVER!!!

I started coming to Toni & Guy a year ago and every appointment has been an absolute pleasure. The staff are professional, competent and actually listen to what you'd like done. I never have to pretend to be satisfied!
