Great cafe next to the river in Bali. Good food and great afternoon tea sets. The cafe has two floors and outside seating but can get quite busy during lunch times and afternoon. They often have live music downstairs on the ground floor which is good with great acoustics. They also cater to children with toys and a small play area near the entrance. Good ambience and decoration that gives a feeling similar to an English pub. They have nearby parking which is convenient too.
Been here on two occasions so it’s a combined review. Both times I went I was impressed by the food on offer. The fish and chips is good but the fish is a small portion. The steak brunch isn’t bad and the burgers are good! Some dishes are part of a set menu which include drinks soup salad and if you sit outside upstairs it’s a really nice view. The menu has a nice variety of options to choose from and it’s child friendly with a little toy area for the children. We also ordered the raspberry chocolate cake which was great but small. Room for improvement: Don’t serve the food at different times. My food came after 15mins, my partners food came after 30mins which makes it awkward. Offer card payment. This restaurant is cash only which is inconvenient especially during the pandemic. Out of all the restaurants in Bali, I think this is one of the best! It also has live music on the weekends!
Very cozy and nice food. Service is good. Location is good. Recommend.
Good food and pet friendly restaurant. Tried the dessert and rather disappointed. Nice atmosphere too.
Very high minimum spending amount $350. This is a very high minimum compared to other western cuisine in Taipei. Parents went and ordered some of lots of things; pasta, pizza, risotto, soup etc. Everything was too oily. Worst of all is they didn't take back the soup spoon and give a new one for the entrees. They did not give a spoon rest so the soup spoon would just end up right on the table top - very unhygienic. Overall, not worth how much they charge. Too bad they're the only restaurant in the area lol. Vegetarian options: Vegetarian option doesn't have marinara sauce, only heavy cream Alfredo sauce. Not good - the Alfredo sauce was too greasy.
Disappointing experience. Has potential to be better but for now has quality and management issues perhaps far more pronounced at peak hours. - Ice for the coke came half melted - Salad was bland. No dressing. - First dish took 25 minutes to be served, second dish took 40 minutes to be served. - Timing between drink, soup and salad took too long. - Tartar sauce was more akin to mayonnaise than actual tartar sauce - Fish and chips came out lukewarm - Fish tasted odd; not sure of the quality. - Only one bottle of Tabasco sauce for entire second floor.
Very nice place for family times! Riverside park! Coffee! Dessert! All highly recommended
slow services, food is below average, drinks are very artificial and sweet. not very nice... decoration and style in the restraunt is cool though. wouldn't come back for a second taste if there's other options.
A very polished bar-and-grill vibe, with a very heavy motorcycle motif. Friendly staff and good service. Food is relatively high-end pastas, risotos and burgers, and what I tried was pretty tasty. A bit pricy for Bali my sea bass and squid ink pasta was around 10 USD, but for that you get good food a gorgeous view. Small beer selection only Hoegarten and Erdinger and no wine or cocktails on the menu.
Nice area to chills with family and friends, food also tasty Kid-friendliness: Kids play area with some Kitchen set and little camp house
