Great service. It was busy but we still manage to get a table. Young staff is very nice and very polite. Food was delicious. Big serving of spicy seafood noodle soup. It was scrumptious. Chicken fried rice and honey chicken was also finger licking good. We left at 9pm and people were still lining up to get table.
Happily had dinner thanks to the amazing meal served! Pork back bone soup was surprisingly nice and also once again, surprised by the generous amount ! It was tought driving there as it was pouring rainy, but was worthy to get there. I wish I was there with many others so that I could order more various dishes to have! Recommendable, nailed it!
Highly recommended their monthly specials. I have ordered the wagyu tenderloin side strap. It comes with 5 entrees, vegs and 2 dipping sauces. Just $69, it definitely enough for 2 people. I have also ordered the pork bone soup which includes rice. It is my cup of tea, so meaty. They also famous for their fired chicken and definitely worth a try.
This is a pretty good K-barbecue place with actual charcoal barbecues which made the meats taste so much nicer and the diners smell so much smokier We ordered a wagyu set and a couple of the wagyu specials initially and had to order more as we really like meat. The meat was fresh and tender and the sides quite tasty. Service was average but not unpleasant, the decor was tidy. It was good
This is a good Korean BBQ restaurant however the dining area and tables were quite small and not a very nice atmosphere. The food was good especially the crispy boneless chicken but the service was not amazing. Still overall a nice place to try.Food: 4/5
Should we wrap up in one sentence "value for your money K-BBQ" ... we came without reservation and they were helpful to seat us. We thought it would be expensive but it came out fine... good portions and quality as well. Will certainly come back again and recommend it to anyone. Don't get fooled, you will end up paying same or more in smaller places elsewhere. Thus said, once again, it's worth the try.
I am very often to have dinner here. Unfortunately the food quality and waitresses service are getting worse in these 2 years. 1. fried chicken is super salty, over marinated; 2. waitresses took wrong order and played mobile when she was tidying up table. 3. waitresses took off our table menu for other empty table but we were about to order something more 4. food quantity becomes much less after these 2-3 years later I am sorry to leave 1 star for you, I try to list practical items for you. Hopefully you can improve in the nearly future.
We had the BBQ. The meat was nice but the portion is quite small for 4 ppl. They don't give us fat or oil for frying so it's quite sticky and burnt a lot. The fried chicken is good though. In terms if the place itself, I found that the floor is quite oily and slippery while the ventilation is not good and the room ended up full of smoke.
We arrived at Tok Tok for dinner on a Thursday night without a reservation. The restaurant was very busy, but there is a book left on table to write down your details. They'll inform you when they find a table for you. The whole process was very organised. Tok Tok serves Korean BBQ, hotpot and several other dishes. We tried the beef intestine soup and the seafood soup. They were both fantastic. The spicy level can be adjusted for each dish as well. They have a good selection of Korean beverages as well. We'll definitely return to try the BBQ next time.
We all like to go out and have someone else cook food for you. Well, you know at Korean BBQ you do the cooking - which is all about the experience, the delicious smells and the fresh off the BBQ food. This is one of the better Korean BBQ I’ve been to in Brisbane and will be returning. Booking was super easy and highly recommended and we were quickly seated. Staff was busy, but super helpful. Food came out quickly and as usual there was an assortment of side dishes. They use hot coals which IMO adds to the flavor. Definitely recommend if you’re up for Korean BBQ. They also have hot pot and Korean Fried Chicken, but I didn’t try any so can’t comment. Maybe next time if my tastebuds can move beyond wanting BBQ.
