Fun, colourful cafe on the Majors Bay strip. Really good coffee, including for those who like their favourite cup made with Almond Breeze. A range of tasty breakfast and lunch cafe staples on offer, including fresh juices, smoothies, eggs, wraps and burgers……….and live music with your Sunday breakfast.
Really enjoyed my brunch here! So many delicious options - the prawn napolitana linguine was a standout with an excellent house made sauce, and I particularly loved the sweet potato fries with the burger. Also, crispy chicken with waffle and maple syrup is always a winning combination for me, and the beautiful fluffy pancakes were the perfect way to end on a sweet note. With lots of indoor and outdoor seating, and friendly service too, I highly recommend checking out this place for a good feed.
Nice cafe with great food, friendly service and lovely ambiance. Food was beautifully presented and with generous portions! My favourite dishes were the fluffy pancakes with mixed berries, and vanilla icecream and the tasty prawn napolitana pasta which was made with its housemade napolitana sauce. The menu has something for everyone and definitely recommend to check this place out ;
Chicken caeser salad was a little salt. But fresh juice was good!
had a lovely lunch seated outside in the sun with some delicious food! i tried the wild mushrooms which had smashed avo, feta, poached eggs and loads of mushrooms! so refreshing with kale and seasoned lightly. the pancakes were so fluffy and light with berries and ice cream, not overly sweet so it's the perfect dessert. the mango smoothie was nice but it was more milky, would have liked more mango flavour. the coffee frappuccino had amazing coffee! service is also so attentive and welcoming : i'll definitely be back!
Coffee was nice but disappointingly had one of the worst ham and cheese croissants ever for an expensive $14 when the guys up the road had it for $9.90. The cheese was cheap cheddar slice, the one that turns orange and gluey when grilled, and the ham was salty. Come on guys, Majors Bay Rd is cafe haven and you need to do better.
Bad experience,Some of the employees do not know how to serve their customers. Here is what exactly happened at the restaurant: We went inside the restaurant, a nice lady comes in to take the order, While we were giving the order, another employee of the restaurant comes in interrupts her in between, asks her not to take the order, instead starts chatting to people at next table while completely ignoring us and leaves the area. That employee made us feel insulted. Needless to say we left the scene without ordering and had our meals at another restaurant few blocks ahead. Even employees at fast food restaurants like Subway have courtesy to tell people that it won't take long while serving other customers. PS: This is not a fake review. this has happened to us in the restaurant and we have felt insulted and humiliated while being at this restaurant. I have no intention to give small businesses a bad name, neither do I expect anything in return. I have been treated unfairly and want to make sure this sort of behavior towards people does not go unnoticed
I have been here a few times now. The food is great and fresh. I love the fresh juices and the coffee is always enjoyable. The staff are friendly and the service is good and quick. Plenty of areas inside and to enjoy your meal or coffee.
We visited Toco for brunch and although there are a heap of healthy options on the menu, we couldn’t go past the fried chicken choices. Both the Suki Suki fried chicken burger and the Fried Chicken and Waffles dishes were really well presented, but I would prefer the chicken coating to have a little more seasoning to pack more of a flavour punch. The Refresh juice with watermelon, pineapple, mint and lime was fresh without being overly sweet. The Berry Best smoothie also had a nice flavour with the inclusion of banana and was satisfyingly thick with chia seeds blended in. The cafe has a nice bright atmosphere, friendly staff and also had great music playing on our visit.
Went to Toco Fresh with my bestie. She ordered Prawn Linguine & Refresh Juice and I ordered Wild Mushroom & Berry Smoothie. Food is beautifully presented, very tasty, portion is big. I like how colourful the cafe is, which gives a Newtown trendy and young vibe. What impress me the most is the health consciousness of the menu - i.e there is super food Kale in Wild Mushroom; Berry smoothie is made of skim milk! My friend loved her Prawn Linguine dish from the first bite - very saucy, creamy dish, with a lot of Prawn.
