Had a great night at Toby's last night for dinner. Ordered the Toby's platter and would highly recommend this. Everything was cooked to perfection and the most thing that impressed me was how beautifully the calamari was cooked, like a hot knife to butter was how soft it was. The staff were very friendly and the service was excellent. Will definitely be back! Thanks Toby's Titirangi
Had a great meal at Toby's last night. New winter menu. We had Lamb Shank, Pork Belly, Fish and Chips fish is Blue Cod, Steak & Guinness Pie, Chicken Cassoulet. All dishes and entrees cooked to perfection and tasty. Range of tap and bottled beer, and wines and spirits. Staff excellent.
What a great place.. it holds a fair bit of history with our family as mum and dad had their first wedding anniversary dinner there and this last time was 49 years later and still the same place. Food was great and service was exceptional... and very good in the pricing too..Food: 5/5
I enjoyed having the door opened for us. I thought the hosts went to an effort to make our visit a casual and pleasant experience. Lamb croquettes and the rare eye fillets was great.
Chicken and leek pie was very dry, short pastry was used instead of flakey, hard veges no sauce. Not a good experience.
Excellent service and food. Price for quality of food good but portion size bit small.Food: 4/5
Food was delicious and staff lovely but it needs to be specifically pointed out that if you want potatoes/chips/salad and veg with your meal they need to be separately ordered, I'm used to getting the sides arrive with my meal.
Great place to go sit and have a great meal with service to match. Recommend everyone to experience, you will not be disappointed.Food: 5/5
