Thrifty car rentals suck!

So we were in Bundaberg trying to pick up a car that we booked 3 months prior.  We checked their website 2 days before pickup and it clearly said, Bundaberg times:12:00-18:00.  We arrived on pickup day at 12:30 and it was closed and had a hand written note saying 8:00-12:00.  We contacted them and had terrible customer service with them trying to blame us for it!  While that was happening we looked on the website 12:00-18:00!

The day later we tried to pick our car up and it was closed.

So on the 2nd of January we arrived at Thrifty one hour after opening time and when we arrived we were greeted by somebody who asked if we had a booking, so  the price of paper over and she said. “You were meant to pick it up on the 31st.”
 We said, “well we looked on your website before leaving New Zealand and the hours were open 12:00-18:00!”
 She replied well I tried contacting you on the 30th.” 
“We were bloody travelling on an international flight!”
“Not everyone picks up their cars, but I do have a car out back.”
“What is the car?”
“A Yaris.” 
“A Yaris! ( we booked a Pajero)Oh my god!”
We then left and went to Bundaberg Airport and rang Avis.  We later picked up the car from Avis (Holden SV6 Black Edition) and went to the Gold Coast.
