Thrifty Car & Truck Rental Ballarat

I have some problem with the steering wheel. Called the emergency line, and no one picked it. Drove to a car repair center nearby, and the staff at the car repair cente warned us that it is dangerous to drive the car. He helped us to called the thrifty center, but no one bothered to pick up the call at all! Tried our way to drive to a nearby thrifty shop, hoping that they would help us. And they simply chased us away with a brochure, saying that they couldn't helped us at all, and we need to call the hotline ourselves. Horrendous service. No more from thrifty. We were right in front of the shop, and no one from thrifty even bother to help. The problem was only solved when the staff from the car repair center went up to them to inform them about the seriousness of the issue. The colleague mocked at each other about the paperwork needed to be done.

Just saw the story on a current affair and just wanted to say wow, you "people" are real FARKIN FERRAL ya conts. Pay out for the damage to that blokes car ya #SCUMBAGS

Dodgy!!! Filled up the van till the fuel overflowed out of the tank. Then was billed the next morning 15 dollars for an additional 2 litres of fuel. Seems to be a common con based on the previous review. Basically theft!

Everything went smoothly until we received an extra fee on our credit card for not having filled the tank to full. When filling the tank with petrol we filled it until we heard 2 clicks, usually this would indicate that you couldn't fit anymore in. Rang to question the charges and Andrew who answered the phone couldn't have been more rude about it. Very disappointing in the way he spoke over the phone, continually interrupting and not listening to our concerns. For someone who is the Managing Director of the company for over 30 years, you would hope he would have better people skills than what he displayed over the phone. We have used this company regularly for many years and have always returned because of their great price and service, however after our horrible interactions with Andrew, we won't be using Thrifty Ballarat again.
