Had breakfast on a Saturday morning. Each meal was full of flavour. The service was incredible as well. I think we were welcomed and served by the owner, he was very warm and friendly. That made our experience very comfortable and enjoyable. Will definitely come back for the third time!
My Christmas Eve breakfast at this wonderful restaurant was a true delight. We savored a hearty big breakfast and a beautifully crafted egg Florentine with smoked salmon. The quality of the food was impeccable—each dish boasted generous portions and used fresh, top-notch ingredients. The big breakfast was a feast for the senses, featuring perfectly cooked components that harmonised wonderfully. Meanwhile, the egg Florentine with smoked salmon was a standout, with its eggs flawlessly poached. The restaurant's ambiance contributed to the overall experience, offering a relaxing and pleasant atmosphere that enhanced our enjoyment. The service was attentive and friendly, ensuring our morning was both comfortable and memorable. Considering the quality and quantity of food served, the prices were justified, making it a worthwhile culinary experience. For those seeking a memorable breakfast in a cozy setting, I wholeheartedly recommend this restaurant.
Great little place, cosy with a not overbearing ambiance and really reasonable food prices for the area. Great little bar as well.
We had the most disgusting experience at this place and will never ever visit the venue again or let anyone I know step a foot in this atrocity. We had a groupon booking at this place for yesterday at 11am. I get a call around 8am on the day and the staff member on the phone told us they need all the tables by 12pm for the footy match so if we need to get there early. I told him we will get there by 10.30am so we have an hour and a half to enjoy our meal. I then specifically told him we need 2 child seats and we needed to be close to heater/fireplace as we bad the baby, toddler, and older parents. We got to the venue at 10.30am, the manager who was a tall white male just pointed at a table right in the middle away from heaters, cramped in and said this is the only table we have left. I told him we asked for 2 child/toddler seats and was told he has only one there was only one other child in the premise. To make matters worse, he tells us that he needs the table by 11.30am. I told him that the staff member this morning told us we can be here till 12 but he refused to pay any attention to our concerns. The manager was very condescending, rude, and not a single apology. The menu items have also been updated long time back and all the food items are more expensive than advert on the group on coupon and on their website. This is shady business practice to make the extra money off patrons that comes through Groupon. This is one of the worst experiences we’ve had with so much disrespect and lack of decency to even apologies. I’ve seen recent negative posts about this place and how the managements strike back saying people shouldn't make complaints/negative comments about their small business. You then need to be humble, have humility and decency towards your customers. Do your business a favour and remove your owner/manager from the front so it prevents him bullying and pushing customers. Have a more approachable person to manage the venue so we can at least raise these issues in person than online.nn******* Re editing this to respond to the snarly and childish response from the “business”.**********nnYou should have informed us well in advance to explain the situation and check if we needed to reschedule, that’s the courteous and empathetic way to go about it not on the morning 2 hours prior of the day. Furthermore you shouldn’t have provided a time for the booking on group on if you knew a match was on .,nWe’d prefer for your excuse of a breakfast place to have more seating for children. So how dumb is your comment about “You booked for 4 people but turned up with six without letting the venue know…”. The extra two you referring to are a 2-year-old and 6-month-old. We clearly communicated we had a baby and toddler coming along which explains the need of child seating. Let that settle in.nnYea we received the food 20-30 minutes later, where we had rush/force feed it to make up for your mistakes. Don’t even get me started with the portion size and food. I gave you 3 stars coz i didn't want to be all negativennAnother pathetic response and clearly is the issue at this place. They can’t take constructive criticism they think they are above all, disgusting.
Tried to make a Groupon booking but all dates are blocked out completely.nI understand that you can only afford to open so many seats per day of Groupon but to block out the whole calender defeats the purpose of offering the deal.nnRang 3bs and asked the guy on the phone if there was an issue , he was very rude and dismissive saying .....'it's not our problem , speak to Groupon.I asked if there was any chance of making booking over the phone in case it was a Groupon technical error . He said, no we are fully booked and have no tables available for anyone including Groupon vouchers, speak to Groupon.nI checked on 3bs own booking page and there was plenty of bookings when we wanted to book and the whole next week.nnSo, I contact Groupon and they say sorry but that shouldn't have happened and kindly gave a refund.nnAll good in the end for Groupon .nnTwo main issues:nYour guy on the phone needs to learn some manners, I was not rude or demanding at all. The way he spoke was disgraceful and certainly does your business no favours.nn2. If you are going to sign up to Groupon stick by the terms of Groupon and at least offer up at least one table on a given day so people can use their vouchers. You may want to do what many other Groupon vendors do and help the customer out to get a booking .nnWe have been to your restuarant several times over the years both uaing vouchers and walk in bookings and brought many friends along. We never had an issue but sadly won't be returning.
