We walked 20 minutes to this place as I was excited to return, having had a nice meal here a few years back when going to the footy. Firstly, the young man in charge of the bar staff growled at a bar staff member to serve me, however I had already been served. They all rush to serve people in fear of being told off; it appears toxic to me! This is a good place for drinks, but the food did not meet my expectations. The pulled pork sliders were so bad I could not eat them; they reminded me of microwave burgers you can buy. The chicken wings were just okay - they were cooked well and served piping hot, but were not memorable. I did not like that the sliders were served with chips/crisps, as I had just had some hot chips.
Had a great atmosphere and the wings were lovely. Very busy before rugby and I understand that things take time. Although our meatlovers pizza never arrived and staff could not explain why our ticket was sitting there. Waited over an hour before asking the question.
Food came out fast and was delicious. Looking forward to coming back at the next event at Optus stadium or maybe after crossing the bridge with the family for a nice relaxing afternoon on the swan.

If you are going to an event or game at Optus, this may be a great place for a drink as the cocktails were nice but it is definitely not worth the prices for food.nYou can order food from the tables via QR code, but all drinks have to purchased up at the bar.nAfter we ordered food, there wasn’t a super long wait for it to arrive but the fish was room temperature and quite flavourless, chips from other meals were cold and chicken wings were hardly coated in batter and were also slightly above room temperature.nThe pub is fairly loud, which is to be expected. This is definitely not an ‘intimate’ location. Music could definitely go down a touch to avoid battling the raised voices.
A modern, industrial setting, ideal for a football pre-match drink. While the pizza was good, the menu is generally uninteresting. Service is welcoming but incredibly slow. Most disturbing was the Willy Wagtail bird hopping about the pizza kitchen, perching on the sign. It got worse when it cropped from the sign to the counter top. Not what I expect, nor what I want to see when I've ordered pizza.
