The representative that turned up seemed enthusiastic and was able to diagnose the problem quickly.  He informed me that I did not have to pay a second call out fee but would only have to pay for the part.  He brought the part and fixed the stove and then informed me that I have to pay $99 for labour/fixing charges. I am sad and disappointed with the incorrect information provided.

I read their response which are untrue. I was told that the part could range between $30-50. I'm OK with it being $60 but I was unaware of the additional $99. 

Unknown to me, a friend had called Thornbury Electrics. She too mentioned that he conveniently didn't have the part & had to come on another day & again charged her $99 for labour.

What saddens me is the way they called my sister & pestered us to remove my review. Margaret, from the office called me yesterday &  was quite rude. She slammed the phone on me while I was explaining why I had to warn other consumers.

I chose them over another electrician because of the good reviews Thornbury had.

These guys showed up on time and worked quickly and cleanly.  The technician and his apprentice were friendly and helpful. Would definitely use again.

We have found Thornbury Electrics to be , Honest , Efficient , Friendly , with Clean Workmanship and very Competitive with pricing , Having used Thornbury Electrics many times, we will continue to use them, and  have no hesitation in recommending them to everyone.

Contacted these guys due to a power fault at home last weekend. They were out the next day and managed to determine the fault was due to a faulty wire in the roof which tripped the power and they managed to fix the issue on the spot. Really happy with their service and how quickly they could resolve the issue. Would definitely use these guys again.
