We wanted to eat fish and chips before leaving Australia and found this affordable place right on the corner and we did not regret it. By far the best fish and chips I have ever eaten. Note it's actually made of shark. Delish!
Meal normally $13. I paid $6 with Scoopon. What did I get? A cardboard cone cool design full of chips, with only six tiny pieces of salt and pepper squid. Let me say the best thing about this meal was the sauce which sells for $1 alone. The chips were cold and well over cooked. The concept is unique, the roll-out is horrendous. The cone design allows you to walk the streets of Melbourne with cone of chips in one hand, drink in another, sauce in the third, and your fourth hand used to dip the chips into the sauce. Needless to say, I had to sit down somewhere to consume this meal. Here lies the next problem. As you need to sit to eat this meal, you place the cone on a table and it rolls away. I highly do not recommend this place. Bad value, poor design and cheap quality frozen food that is available from any food wholesaler. Move along people...
Ordered a prawn pack. Took about 40 minutes to come. Came with 5 tiny shrimps the kind you buy frozen from coles to put in your fried rice and half a small box of dry chips. No value. Better going to McDonald's a cross the street.
Had chips in cone with fried Haoumi. Omg!!!!! So good. Amazing for the price. Friendly team, really great vibe. Score 130/100%
Do yourself a favour and get a salt and pepper squid cone you won't regret it at all!!! I ll be back for more
Chips were quite good and I really enjoyed the sweet potato cake. Prices are reasonable considering the location. Friendly staff.
This shop is seriously amazing. Best fish in city. Salads are simply superb. Lot more things available
Old fashioned British Fish and Chips; yum!
I was so impressed by the prawns and chips.
Great food nice crew. Try the cod. The Cones are a tad expensive for the amount you recieve
