This place was recommended to me by a friend & I am so glad he did. You know the owner cares about his business when he is the one cleaning the walls & making sure the place is spotless rather than paying a staff member to do the job for him. Anthony obviously likes to lead by example. So far I have had a lamb souvlaki, a piece of flake, the home made potato cakes & the chips from here & it was all delicious food. Top that off with friendly customer service and a loyalty card & that's enough reasons for me to keep coming back.
Wow what a find Pinewood has needed a top quality fish shop forever. Crispy Catch is the best. Top quality fish cooked to golden perfection, home made potato cakes old fashioned crisp and delicious. Chips, dim sims yum will be back to try prawns and other items. The service is first class friendly, helpful extremely pleasant staff. We will be back regularly for the best seafood in the area.
Came across this fish and chip shop in Pinewood tonight. It is amazing. The most delicious crisp fish and chips, delicious potato cakes, fresh, prompt and the nicest people you could want. We will be back again and again. Definitely the best fish shop for a long way and average prices. Well done guys.
Beautiful fish chips and all other seafood, perfection. I was not even aware this fab fish shop had even opened in Pinewood thank you guys well worth a bit of a drive as the food is great the prices average and the best fish and chips for miles around. Well done.
This place the taste is unbelievable. I got Johns Best pack tonight for my small family. The scallops was OMG good & the fish absolutely perfect. My new regular shop now. A pleasant experience
Hands down the best fish and chips lve ever had. From the chips and potato cakes to the gyro's meat hamburgers and homemade croquettes there food is Devine an absolute treat for your tastebuds.
Best fish and chip place in Mount Waverley. Food and service is absolutely unbeatable. Would highly recommend their seafood salad, absolutely amazing.Food: 5/5
2nd visit: Anthony and his team where just as accommodating. Much appreciated. Everyone in the office loved their meal. 1st visit: Walked in, spoke to Anthony. Told him I'm catering to large group. He was very accomodating and helped me stay in budget. The office loved it. I will be back. Thanks to you Anthony and your team. Dietary restrictions: Very accommodating to gluten free requests, and asked if they where celiac or not before continuing with their order.
So glad my husband took note of this new fish and chip store in our area. Our family has developed a bit of an obsession with salt and pepper calamari over the summer, and what Crispy Catch served up was incredible. Their calamari is fresh, tender and gently coated with a delicious crisp batter. We could eat a bucket full! We also got our hands on the mixed Gyro and it was perfectly seasoned, not oily and had a generous helping of those delicious “edge bits”. On top of this, we received service with a familiar smile and warmth. Great work everyone. We will certainly be back again and again, and again
First time to this place and I’m super impressed! By far best sweet potato chips I’ve had! Had vegetarian dim sim… super delish! Grill fish , pumpkin fritter. Have to keep going back and try out new menu from now on!
