I ordered a piece of battered fish and 6 pieces of salt & pepper squid.nThe good:nthe price, the tenderness of the squid,nA nice flavour of the fish.nA decent sized piece of lemon with both the squid and the fishnnThe bad:nthe batter on the squid was too thick, and when they say ‘salt’ and pepper squid, they should emphasise ‘salt’. It was way too much and I like salt.nThe batter on the fish had very minimal coverage, and the one small place it was crispy was tasty, but the rest of the batter was stodgy. The fish had a nice enough flavour, but it was a bit flowery, as though it had not Defrosted properly. This ruined what would’ve been a nice piece of fish.nnThe ugly:nThe batter was not cooked properly.nThe squid batter tasted half cooked did I mention the salt? Just way too much and half raw in the first piece I had. I u curled a piece and it was gross - a sludgy, stodgy paste of uncooked batter.nnOverall, I factored in that my food was delivered, it was a quick delivery from placing the order to receiving it. I think that with a couple improvements in ingredients and technique on how to cook a delicious piece of dish houses in a tent of perfectly crispy batter, this eatery will go from not quite as bad as zero to really, truly, Hero!
Update: Unfortunately I have to rate the parma down somewhat - I'm not sure if it was just a bad day, but ended up with one that was overcooked quite visibly. The chips, salad and burgers are still rock solid though.nnOriginal Review 2023: The quality of the chicken parma and burgers from here are great - it honestly feels like you're stealing from them with the quantity of food they provided too. The chips are nice and crispy too. The chicken lollipops are also highly recommended when if? they go back on the menu.
Anup from Third Eye Grill is great with customers and cooks up a delicious grilled fish. Don’t forget to order a tub of their tasty gravy. It’s sooo good! Great quality take away food.
Had the best experience at this restaurant from the moment we walked in, The food was fresh of flavour and the atmosphere was perfect for a relaxing meal. Highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a memorable dining experience. Will definitely be back!
