Stopped here for a couple of lattes around ten minutes before closing time, and therefore had to order takeaways, completely understandable. What was less understandable is that they took almost ten minutes to make and both the coffee and the milk were burnt/boiled. For more that five dollars for a shopping centre latte, I would expect a quality coffee, made from someone trained in how to make them. Not only did I scald my mouth trying to take a sip, but even when it cooled it was undrinkable. I should have just thrown my ten bucks in the bin, saving time and my mouth.

We went to theobroma for brunch as a treat for my birthday. Hubby had a mocha and a stack of 3 pancakes which looked good, quite thick, he said they tasted like Mc Donald’s pancakes, I tried a small corner and thought they weren’t bad. I ordered the waffle with syrup and ice cream and stated I did not want any chocolate on them and an iced coffee. Well I was very shocked when I saw the barista put a scoop of ice cream in a glass then take a bottle of purchased Iced coffee out the fridge and pour it on top of the ice cream. She then squirted cream on top. $6 thanks. The waffles came out with chocolate on them and a vial of syrup beside. When I told the man I said I did not want chocolate on them he told me that comes standard with them, I said again that I told the girl I did not want any chocolate on them then he picked them up and left. When he returned with my waffle it was floppy like a pancake and half of it was broken up on the plate. It was soft and crumbled apart, very difficult to pick up with a fork and when the syrup was on it it was like mush. It had no taste at all, thank god for the syrup and the ice cream was more like iced cream, it was so hard it barely melted, I’m sure it was the cheapest one in the supermarket, not a softer creamier ice cream as you’d expect. I gave it a 2 because the time we waited for our drinks and food was acceptable, it appeared clean, tables were not squashed in so sufficient room to move and personal space when eating and the food was edible but not enjoyable. I rate this as mid - high price range establishment.

Very nice coffee I bought here today. And considering how busy it was I only waited about 4 to 5 minutes for them to serve my coffee order. That is pretty fast service considering its one of the busiest shopping days of the year at fountain gate shopping centre being the boxing day sales day with people everywhere. If you are looking for a nice tasting coffee and in a hurry then grab one here. Dont wait at some of the other cafes with less skilled baristas

The chocolate drinks are delicious. Especially the iced chocolate. The food was ok. I wouldn't go there for a meal. Definitely more of a desert and tea time place.

I had a team meeting here and it was fantastic. Great friendly and attentive staff and amazing sweets! We both had a cheesecake and it was delicious. I can recommend this place and you won't be disappointed.
