Great vibes and atmosphere. I had the steak sandwich which took about 30 mins to come out and it was decent but certainly not the best steak sandwich I’ve had. If you’re going here for just drinks and a hang out, it is perfect. I might get dinner somewhere prior beforehand.

It’s the kind of space where you can settle in and really enjoy your food and company.nnThe roast itself was exceptional—tender meat served with crispy roast potatoes, seasonal vegetables, and rich gravy. The flavors were well-balanced, and the portion size was satisfying.nnThe staff were friendly and attentive, ensuring we had everything we needed throughout our meal. The combination of delicious food and the charming setting made for a memorable Sunday lunch.nnI highly recommend The Woodlands Hotel for anyone seeking a quality Sunday roast in Melbourne. It’s a great spot to unwind and enjoy a hearty meal in a lovely environment.
I held my 40th birthday party at the woodlands and hired out the Avery space. It was such a great night, the staff went above and beyond to make my night special and everyone was saying just how much fun it was. The food was also delicious and the space was absolutely stunning. If you ever want to hold an event, this is your place! Thanks again to all the staff!

Everyone was so friendly, welcoming and attentive, making sure everything ran smoothly throughout the evening. It really made us feel well looked after.nnThe function space upstairs was perfect, and so many of our guests commented on what a great venue it was. Everyone had an amazing time, and the relaxed atmosphere made for a memorable night.
Super cosy and warm atmosphere for a cold Melbourne day. The interior is gorgeous, with lots of eclectic furnishings to admire. I had the seafood chowder special and it was devine. My partner loved his steak. Waitstaff were kind and attentive. 5/5.
