Our dream wedding at POH!!! From the start, Wes and the events team made the planning stage stress free and fun. We wanted to have a big party and feed everyone well - and POH delivered!!! On the day, everything couldn’t have gone more smoothly and we got to feel like we were along for the ride and taken care of. The one stand out compliment we hear months later is how incredible the food was even from the vegans!. The venue itself is so beautiful and it meant we didn’t have to go overboard with florals or decorations - you easily could - but the natural style/greenery means less is more too. Our goal is now to get invited to a wedding so we can do it all again. Thank you!!!
A very nice pub. Nice modern fit out inside and a really lovely back garden area. The food was really good and our party all enjoyed their meals. And lastly, a shout out for all the young staff here especially those at the front bar and serving meals. They were all lovely and very good at their jobs. Bravo
We could not have asked for a better place to celebrate our wedding! The Dining Hall space is a hidden gem and the whole team at POH went above and beyond.nnOur co-ordinator Wesley’s guidance on everything leading up to the day was spot on, and the room was set up so perfectly when we walked in, even accommodating our late placecard shuffle and setting up all of the confetti cones prior to our arrival.nnAll of our guests were absolutely raving about the food and they were so well fed - we’ve now eaten at the venue on many occasions and the food is consistently great.nnWesley managed our vendors before and during the event - they all said how much they love the venue and working with him. His energy on the day being both super fun but also calming was exactly what we needed!
We had an exceptional event held with only 2 weeks notice here - Wesley handled everything seamlessly & ensured we were running smoothly on the day. Feedback from 120 guests was very positive, especially the slow roast banquet which the chefs cooked perfectly with crispy potatoes & two lovely salads. Every staff member operated with a smile & an engaging warmth. We would recommend this establishment to anyone wanting a well executed event at a smartly designed pub.
We recently ran an event for 150 people at the Post Office Hotel in Coburg and it could not have been a better experience. The staff were excellent, so on to it, friendly and genuinely adding to the atmosphere and experience for our guests. The food was abundant and generous across the whole event and they seamless stayed on top of refills, glasses and keeping the spaces fresh. With 150 people queues at the bar, and staff being behind on clean up has been common at previous events at other locations but the Post Office staffed the event well and our guests noticed the speed and ease of getting drinks, and food service. It is such a great space, the outdoor areas were really popular and the staff were so accomodating to our ideas, our decorating vision and making it easy from start to finish. Couldn't recommend the venue more. Thank you so much for helping us to create such a wonderful event for everyone who came. The vibes were high and your space and team definitely added to that!
