Top notch cafe/restaurant. I booked in advance as I was coming from Auckland and I am glad I did because it was crowded. We had Kumara chips, Shrimp Cocktail, Beef burger and a couple of lemon lime and bitters. The food was totally amazing. I can go as far to say this may haven been the best burger I have eaten. Prawns and kumara chips were delicious. Really great evening. Thanks
Came in for lunch and was not disappointed. The portions were good and tasty. Coffee was a little on the weak side for the large size but it was decent.nnWould recommend those around the area to give this place a try. Parking available outside as well.
For a family of 5 this was the best meal in a long time dining out. The staff at The Wooden Farmer were exceptional, the food was divine and the atmosphere relaxing and welcoming. Putararu, you have a gem in your midst and we will definitely be back.

My eyes popped at other meals taken to tables.nStaff hospitality was 10/10.nAtmosphere- 100% country NZ.n friendly.nI'm definitely coming back
