Don't deal with these people. Harry and the rest of the team are scam artists and liars. I traded in and they didn't pay for the vehicle I traded until the car had been repossessed and I had to threaten legal action. The owner Harry refused to communicate with me and in the end I had to use the dealers finance company to put pressure on them to pay the encumbrance. This is the worst experience I have had doing business with anyone and I wouldn't recommend these guys to anyone. read the reviews, do your research and don't do business with this dealership because they will rip you off. I have made a complaint to the commerce commission so they are aware of the fraudulent things this dealership has done.
Stay clear of this place, bought a car didn't even have a reg and the best they were willing to do was reimburse till the day I took it so I would still be getting a car without a reg, on top of this their was a headlight bulb missing so just one light, I thought it's not a major replace the bulb but turns out the lights had been dodged up and had to get the whole thing rewired costing a lot, I'm still working through a few small warrant failures that it passed with their mechanic. At the time of purchasing early this year if I was in a better financial position I would have been taking legal action. Now I've just come across their google rating I feel obligated to stop people making the same mistake I did.
I have bought two vehicles with the wheel deal. One over two years ago with which I had no problem with and still runs great. My partner needed a new one so shop around and went back to the wheel deal, there was a problem a week after so went back to the dealership and they fixed the problem within two weeks. Good dealership IMHO.
Unfortunately, we bought a car at this place just a week ago. It actually seemed to be a car for a reasonable price and as a non-professional the car looked outside as well as the interior. We took a close look at the details in order to find possible major erosions but there were none. Even less than one week later we noticed that the painting was fading heavily especially on the hood, but also on different parts of the car. We called our sales contact there to figure out what to do, since he offered to call him anytime, so that they could fix unforeseen issues that could possibly appear after reasonable time. His answer was 'that they are not earning anything with the car anyways' and that 'it was a common thing for red cars' so 'they would not be able to do anything at all'. This was a devastating example of bad customer experience and disappointing to see how a professional dealer handles obvious defects that could be rectified. I strongly recommend to not visit this place if you consider buying a car.
This is the amount of oil the car has dripped on the driveway after 2 days The coolant has metal particals in it and the car dies occasionaly. Management at the wheel deal were contacted next day and we were basically told that im stuck with it now and they dont even want to hear about , several attempt were made to get in touch but no response . Purchasing a car from you blokes seemed fun at first but the response from management was childish unprofessional uneducated inexperienced nasty sassy and disrespectful . The fact that I own my personal car dealership does not forbid me from buying cars for my personal use , will be taking this case to the tribunal.
Thank you to the team at the wheel deal, i couldn't thank you all enough especially Harry. I had been looking to buy a Porsche Cayenne for a number of months and when driving along cavendish drive my eyes were drawn in by the brightly coloured flags. I walked into the showroom and there it was, the car I wanted ever since I had started driving. I was greeted by harry and he explained the options in regards to finance as I didn't quite have the full amount. Need less to say within a matter of hours I had traded in my bmw 320 and was driving out in a porsche cayenne elated with happiness. I was just googling for the address as I was wanting to send the team a small gift of appreciation for their proactive service and just saw that there had been a few conflicting reviews in regards to the service that I had received to my disbelief. I know we live in the era of keyboard warriors, so i deemed it necessary to write a few words in regards to my fantastic experience with the company. I look forward to purchasing my next car from yourselves once I can afford to upgrade. Thanks
I recently bought an Audi A4 from The Wheel Deal. The car was very competitively priced and in immaculate condition. Harry and his team were an absolute pleasure to deal with, ensuring the whole experience was straight forward and stress free. I have absolutely no hesitation in recommending the Wheel Deal to all my friends and family. Fantastic!!!
Really stoked with my new vehicle, Lee and the team are extremely helpful and a pleasure to deal with. The whole experience was totally enjoyable, in the past I've bought off trademe, but the added value of dealing with professionals who can provide warrantys and get things done quickly is just superb. I highly recommend these guys.
The worst place to buy a vehicle from. We bought an Evo 7 that we thought was in awesome condition. We traded in our WRX for it, but the truck to pick our car up was nearly 2 weeks late. When the WRX got up to Auckland, they didn’t send the Evo down to us for a week becaude they never booked the truck to send it down to us. We called them everyday and they kept lying saying that they had booked it. When we got the car, the emblems off the boot were missing due to them “respraying the boot” when they didn’t because there was a different spoiler and you could see where the old spoiler was. Few weeks later we were on our way to Dunedin when our tyre blew up on us because there wasn’t enough tred. This car had got a warrant 1 month before we got it we go to check the boot, we don’t have a jack, a spare tyre or the locknut key to get the rims off. We were stuck on the side of the road for 8 hours because we were completely stuck. We didn’t get to Dunedin until 4am. And we left at 7pm. We went up to Auckland and went and saw Dan the boss and he lied to our faces. And didn’t even feel bad. Told us he was going to send us down a spare tyre, jack and emblems. Told us that when the car left Auckland that everything we needed was in that car. This was the 10th of December. It’s now the 3rd of February and still nothing. Dan lied to us and said they had sent it over the christmas period, we asked for a tracking number and got told it never actually happened. We then got told that he doesn’t have time for our problems and to sort it out ourselves. I am sick and tired of the way these people think they can treat us like dirt and think they can get away with it. You’ll be sorry when we get our lawyer on to you. Strongly advice to not buy from this car dealership.
Good customer service, professional and extremely helpful in selling cars. All of the above mentioned will disapear if you have bought a car. !!STAY CLEAR OF THIS PLACE!! or make sure you know what you are buying. This experience has cost me more then $7500.- of a car half the price. Good luck!!
