A great coffee, I enjoyed my long black, tasty blend. Offers sweets/ treats. Would be great to add vegan range. They do have gluten-free muffins but needs to be heated, staff are friendly and surrounding was pretty.
Decorations are 10/10. Canadian on tap is 10/10. Even if it takes a while to get too you. Plenty of snack like food options on top the default club feeds. Club was very clean and tidy. However… Not sure if it was the wrong time to be there or if the building has no luck but we went there and it seemed no one was winning on the slappers. Like no one…saw a few features but it seemed dribbles of a pay. We fed a couple of machines a few pineapples and left within an hour. It’s mother club is Mingara near our home and such we are Members. Anywho, there is my review.
Westport has finally got there meals tasting yummy after the 2 years of covid. This was fantastic, eggs were perfect, bread spot on, sauce very tasty and all sitting on a bed of rocket....
This place is hopeless so slow and all the staff are like they are asleep or something. The food is overpriced for what you get. It’s restaurant prices with really bad food. I had a beef brisket which was basically a slab of fat and the chips were cooked in month old oil by the looks of them.
Jimmy’s bar is always great for a relaxing drink/yummy cocktail near the fireplace or over by the windows for a nice view of the lake… However the restaurant aqua is a huge deterrent and has been the 2 times my partner and I have been there… under or over-cooked food, poor service, terrible lighting and what tastes like deb potatoes. Won’t be dining in the restaurant again but will visit Jimmy’s bar
We started our night at the other bowling club in Port Macquarie but we didn't have a booking. We didn't think we would need it to go to a bowling club for dinner who would have thought but did they try to accomodate us for a family of five with a baby. NO! So we phoned ahead at the Westport Club and they were happy to fit us in. The food was excellent. The service was great, keeping us informed that there was a half hour delay so we ordered entrees as well and they were at our table before we had a chance to get back to the table ourselves my wife actually told them it wasn't ours. The view was better and we had all round a really good night.
The food is nice but it is a bit over priced. They have a quiz night which is great fun. The way they pay out on the pokies is absolutely ridiculous, instead of printing out a ticket for use in another machine or for cashing out, the money has to go onto a stupid card that most people don't know about or know how to do it.
Staff were amazing but whatever you do DO NOT take kids here. Thos os not a kid-friendly venue. Other patrons came over to where we were sitting and accused our children on breaking their glass when several members of our party saw the gentleman drop the glass himself, i was also in the toilet with said children at the time and say a staff memver cleaning up the glass as we were coming out, also the children were told by another patron to go away from them when they went to look out the windows. Pretentious, entitled patrons.....I feel for the staff. Will not be back, sorry.
Sadly the food being served in the Aqua Resturant is outrageously poor . Everything fried is overcooked and the meals generally are poorly presented. Anything not fried looks to be pre-cooked and simply reheated. Today I ordered Silverside with mashed sweet potato and what I was served was four slices of pre-cooked meat warmed up on a grill rendering it tough dry and singed , disgraceful . I Best go elsewhere until the club make possitive changes.
Way over priced for there menu and not very well portioned also can't bring meals out together which was very annoying as some of us had to wait to eat ours while others had to wait for there meal. Overall don't think I will be dining here again
