Very ordinary. I've had the Ocean catch before and it was nothing like this. Very small serve. No I hadn't yet touched it. Barramundi was so small and flat like it had been run over by a car. Burger and club sandwich looked great but super greasy. Dripping with butter. Not worth the money. The view is great
One of the best Eggs Benedict in Port! Portion sizes are great. Great spot to dine on a nice day with views of the Hastings River.Food: 5/5
Nice spot for breakfast or lunch on the deck before/after a walk along the Hastings River…grab a coffee while waiting for the ferry. Good food and customer service. Reasonable prices.

Four people for breakfast. The food was excellent. Wait staff looked and acted like they would rather be somewhere else. Not unfriendly they just didnt seem to be able to crack a smile. It is a great spot to sit and watch the ferry working.
With excitement to be in Port Macquarie 4 hours away from our home we were determined to find a great brekkie spot with an amazing view. We found just that and more at The Point Cafe, great brekkie with fair pricing and portion, amazing ocean view and very friendly staff with great service. Would love to come here with my in-laws next time. Wish i took photos but was too eager to dig in to my delicious food. Parking: side curb parking plenty of space and right outside the cafe Wheelchair accessibility: wheelchair and pram friendly cafe, great for me and my partner as we had a newborn with us
Although slightly on the pricier side for a big breakfast, every dollar spent for us was worth it with plenty of quantity and quality on our plates. The coffee was also beautiful and we could not find a fault in the food or service.
We were looking for somewhere nice for a relaxed lunch while on a small post wedding holiday in Port Macquarie and happened to stumble upon this gem only a few doors down from our accommodation. The service from the moment we entered the door felt like we were locals and the food is literally second to none that we've come across anywhere around here. We had the bruschetta to start, my wife had the thai beef salad and I indulged on the club sandwich. Everything was to die for. Will be back and reccommend 10/10!
Excellent choice of cafe style lunch, 5 meals came out quickly and all hot. Very tasty. Def recommend.
