This is an excellent local. Trivia, badge draws, meat tray raffles. Great food on the menu, very good quality for the price and members gets 10% off. Really fun vibe and just recently renovated and dog friendly. The KFC halloumi were the best!
A lovely assortment of flavours. A very large portion so I thought it was well worth the price. P.S. Order via a QR code at the table which incurs a 1% surcharge on card payments or opt for cash payment at the counter.
Vibes are amazing. Music was so cool. General atmosphere was sooo nice. Staff were very happy and friendly. Big variety of beers. Food was average. Would definitely be back.
Good menu options for both drinks and food. I got the chicken burger and I was delicious, very crispy. My friend got the arancini and really enjoyed it, specially the sauce. Food portions are huge by looking at the plate of people around us, good value too. Our food didn’t take too long to arrive and service was really good. And is pet friendly which is always a bonus!
Just a damn good pub. Beautiful indoor/outdoor feel and dogs are welcome. Staff are lovely and great selection of beers. Was a little disappointed that the gyoza was actually stuffed chicken wings and not gyoza, but still a good fusion attempt. Will absolutely be back.
Great pub great atmosphere Lots of beer and wine to choose from. Both had the brisket Lasagne which was nice but disappointing lacking in salt an flavour. We will be back to try something else on the menu.
The vibes are so cool, nice music, the staff are very friendly and welcoming, the beer selection is good The food was average, the eggplant parmi was a bit stodgy, the fries weren't seasoned and the brisket lasagne was ok but not impressed, I would still come again and try different plates as the place was really cool and dog friendly too
The location is very convenient.. The interior of the place is very nice.. the outdoor seating arrangements are very pretty.. it is just opposite to Petersham station so if you think you don't want to drive, it will be very convenient.. also you can park your car on the street side without a parking fee.. we tried the chicken schnitzel and the lamb kofta.. they were nice..
The White Cockatoo Hotel. A great place to relax, enjoy tasty food, and share time with a friend in Sydney’s Inner West at Petersham.
Best of its kind in its neighbourhood. The cockatoo has a pretty decent menu with more often than not a good cook. It's a busy venue with all the usual pub evening activities. Busy with a lovely vibe during after work hours. It's my go to for a pub meal with friends in this area.
