This review is for gel nails. Although the woman who applied my polish was lovely my nails were a disaster. I had them done for a wedding two days later and by the time of the wedding five of my finger nails were badly chipped and two were starting to peel off. Now, less than a week later, 8 of the 10 fingernails have peeled off!!  Even on day one all of them looked like they had been done at least a week prior because the polish was applied so far away from the cuticle. There were also bits missing on the sides. One of my toes had completely come off. I could tell that the woman was not experienced at doing nails at all. I don’t think this company should be offering nails. I have had gel nails many times and this has to rate as my worst ones yet. The colour selection was also very limited and they had run out of bright red, saying it was “popular”. Well why would you not keep up supplies? Sorry Wax bar but you should stick to waxing or train your nail technicians a LOT better. I did enjoy being chatted to by the woman doing my nails whereas at many nail places the operators don’t speak to me, perhaps because English is not their first language but they do my nails a great deal better than The Wax Bar.
