The Waterfront Cafe

Absolutely great location. The food was fantastic, a lot good options, can't go wrong. We had a lovely a breakfast here. It was cosy and there's outdoor and indoor seating. Would definitely go again if in Merimbula again!

Great service - everyone was so lovely. Dog friendly as lots of seating outside. Menu had lots of options: chilli scrambled eggs on croissant was fabulous. My mother ordered eggs and then added on extras. She loved the baked beans.

Last night this amazing cafe catered for our special evening. 48 of us were treated to champagne, canapés, mains and desert bar. Everything, and I do mean Everything was perfect! The food was sensational, the atmosphere inside that you created just added to a brilliant night. To Lou, your kitchen staff and your incredible dancing bar staff, You nailed it. We cannot thank you enough. Your review needs more stars.

The food was great and came very quickly once we ordered, but only after being handed menus and having to wait 20 minutes to order. That was after calling someone over only to be told that they weren't a waitress but they would get someone. 2 minutes later, they were back saying they couldn't get anyone and they would do it themselves. Food great thanks chefs!, staff great thanks!, management? A bit of a miss from you today.

Fantastic Mothers day breakfast board. Beautifully presented. This is a busy waterfront cafe with a great Sunday vibe. Staff were friendly and the food was great and most importantly great coffee too.

Walking in this place looked like it was good. It took a pretty long time to order coffees, more than 10 mins I had gone up to the front to ask to order coffees was told to be seated and someone would come. Another 5 or more minutes after that. We had 3 children with us so it wasn't the easiest to keep them seated for long even though there's a playground its more suited to 4 or 5 year olds. Once we placed our coffee order staff member left before we could order food, which waiting again seem to take forever. I ordered the pumpkin quinoa salad which was so underwhelming and definitely not $24 worth. It had no quinoa, 2 small bits of beetroot pumpkin and lettuce leaves. The other 2 meals egg amd bacon roll had no egg, scrambled egg was asked to be cooked thoroughly and all meals were sent back. The other two came back as ordered and mine was basically the same. The seagulls were pretty intense we were told once we got our food. No option to move just to watch our food. When asked specials the staff weren't sure. Just seemed to not have any processes when a bit busy.

Breakfast 15/12/21 Lovely staff and best bacon in years! Great view only problem was the seagulls trying to steal our food, we had the prime position table.

We had breakfast here with our 2 kids and it was perfect. Good coffee, excellent and prompt service, combined with some great food.

Everything was great: Food, drinks , friendly service and the view . There are walking path and play ground in front of the cafe. You can go for walk before or after the lunch . Baby/kids and dog friendly , highly recommended

Big breakfast was nice. Quick service for a Sunday morning. Friendly staff. Didn’t love the coffee though.
