Thoroughly enjoyed our brunch here. I had the chorizo with poached egg and potato bread. I also added a side of bacon. The dish was superb with the chorizo flavourful and the poached egg done just right. The size of bacon was a good choice to add to complement the dish. We also enjoyed the good coffee here after a nice day hiking at Hanging Rock.
We love coming here every time we visit Woodend. Delicious breakfast. The menu has GF and veg options too. I recommend the hot chocolate for a treat.
Lovely service and yummy food! And it opens at 8am! I was desperately trying to find a place that was open here in town. It was great to find this place. Liked it so much, and the rest of the family came for breakfast later. You d be spoilt for choice here. Highly recommended. We will be back for sure!
Stopped here for lunch. It was very busy but we were greeted as soon as we walked through the door and shown to our table. The menu was lively and fresh. Cannot fault the young waitress. I ordered a large almond milk cappuccino with our meals. She told me shortly after that they make their own almond milk and didn't have enough left for a large but could do a small one. She told me it would be worth it and I'm glad she did! It was awesome. The food was very tasty and although their was a bit of a wait for it we were apologised to about the wait and kept informed-so very appreciative of this , it was worth waiting for. We will be back next time we pass through.
Amazing breakfast, Egyptian eggs and zucchini fritters were on point. 10/10 for food
Busy, but handled it well. Vegan hotcakes, so it was the first time our youngest has had them, she has an egg allergy. Only minor annoyance was the zucchini fritters didn't have enough of the sauce/puree they were sitting on. Other than that it was lovely.
Cute little cafe! Lovely attentive staff, warm atmosphere, and delicious hearty, healthy food. The sausage roll and relish is one of the best I've had anywhere!
Expensive for what was produced. $18 for potato and bacon soup with two slices of sourdough toast. Soup was nice, not amazing, can't really get toast wrong. Salmon bagel was cheeky at $20. Came with no side salad or a few crisps would have been nice. Egg was poached well though, still runny. Service was a bit slow...but not horrendous.
I had the vegan delight which was very good, each food in the plate tasted amazing. I think they use organic food as it was very tasty. I also had the beetroot juice, very fresh and tasty and potato with Rosmarin as a side, very good. They have many vegetarian and vegan dishes. Highly recommended
Friendly service and they know how to make a coffee. They weren't serving meals when we got there but had a nice range of cakes and biscuits the yo-yo biscuit was about the size of an orange!.
