This page is the official Facebook page for the Uniting Church in Australia, Queensland Synod. It is administered by the Uniting Communications team.
We encourage and welcome open and democratic discussions to take place on this page however, in the instance that a comment or post by an individual violates the below terms, the post will be removed at the discretion of the administrator.
We will not tolerate content that:
- defames, abuses, bullies, intimidates, harasses or otherwise violates the legal rights of any person;
- discriminates against or vilifies a person or section of the community on account of race, ethnicity, nationality, gender, age, sexual preference, religion, disability, mental illness or political belief;

- is illegal or prohibited by any laws;
- is considered unauthorised commercial communications or spam;
- is obtained from an unknown source;
- misleads by the deletion of any author attributions, labels, logos or any other design that suggests a third-party legal right exists;
- or is personal, political or commercial in nature and deemed inappropriate and unrelated to the interests of Uniting Church in Australia, Queensland Synod and the subjects of the accounts;
- personally and negatively identifies a Uniting Church in Australia, Queensland Synod staff member.
In short, please refrain from using distasteful, sarcastic and inappropriate language.
