It was such a surprise to find authentic Thai food in Akaroa cooked and served by Thais. We ordered the Chefs Seafood Platter for two as we were so tempted by the somtum salad that comes with this dish and we were not disappointed. Yummy food by the harbour front watching an amazing sunset.
Lovely meals. Large quantities and the entrees even serve as small.to medium mains they are so large. The duck roti was great. The bathrooms need a good deep clean and to be cleaned everyday. It was very noticed by our group unfortunately.
Some of the friendliest service we’ve had in the South Island. Food was tasty and cocktails were good. Good value too. Only gripe minor enough to not deduct a star was the tempura prawn was prawns in regular batter... not light and fluffy tempura batter. Excellent size prawns however

Ordered a salmon pizza, they used tomato ketchup as base sauce and we have to struggle to find salmon on the pizza, I’m sure that this place has been gone under a new management.
Nice cold beer - what more could you want on a hot day.
