My partner and I have been to fish and chips stores all over New Zealand and we did not expect to find the best one here in Akaroa. Freshly caught fish, cooked to perfection, reasonable prices and generous portions! Recommended if you're in Akaroa

We got our fish n' chips out in the wharf which is part of Murphy's too. The fish were amazingly cooked and the chips were great! A must try 

Absolutely Delicious! Got the gurnard for 2... more than enough for 2 of us. The fish was cooked perfectly and tasted so fresh. The wedges of lemon are a nice touch. Service was fast and friendly. Thank you

What an excellent place! Well seasoned fish and super crisp chips. Portions are big! And the option of getting grilled instead of battered fish was perfect.
