The Terrace – Royal Botanic GardensnnNice spot to relax in the middle of the gardens. It has a calm vibe, good for going with someone or just enjoying some time on your own. I just had a coffee — simple but good — and the guy at the counter called me by my name and wished me a good day. That kind of service stands out. Worth checking out if you’re around.

Staff were inattentive and more into chatting with each other than serving customers. Had to wave several times to get their attention. Food was overpriced and underwhelming. And the strawberry matcha, I took two sips; the first one had me questioning if something was wrong with my mouth, so I gave it another chance, immediate regret. My face turned as green as the drink itself. Never again

Love the breakfast ! Egg Benedict with potato rosti, thick cut bacon and apple salad is awesome.  Serving staff is very friendly too.

Love it here! Had myself a spritz and some chips as I read my book. So peaceful!! Do have to dodge a few birds but that’s easy to deal with, for the location. Staff were also super friendly and quick!

Servers were kind, but the food…..nninstead of the avocado toast I ordered, I received half a non toasted English muffin absolutely submerged - smothered if you will, with pumpkin purée and other mystery juices. Along with a steak of bacon for the side. The menu doesn’t at all explain the food you’re about to eat. I wouldn’t be upset if I ordered pumpkin on bread, or if I was still 2 years old.nnThe food was followed by a tropical smoothie, that not only emitted pain in my intestine, but also my bank account coming in at $16 for a mid-sized glass. Hooley Dooley.nnNot all hate the food produced by the terrace - every species of bird in the botanical gardens will ransack your table, as-well as others left by unhappy clients while servers kind of just watch. Genuinely felt like the whole animal kingdom was on these tables.nnI won’t be coming back.
